Fantastic location near night Market and temple. Night view room is worth it (overlooking drum tower). Room was clean and had great features. Ac and light controls were in english, helpful for me. Check in and check out we're a bit messy/hectic since there was no visible way to queue and people rushed the desk. Staff were helping multiple guests at same time taking IDs from anyone that offered. Also when we asked staff how far train station was they neglected to tell us there were two train stations. Fortunately, our didi driver clarified.

I would rate this hotel as average. Disappointed that no one at the registration desk spoke English. Room had a lovely view (12th floor) but wallpaper was torn and patched with large stickers. I had to ask for our room to be tidied (dump trash, fresh towels, more water bottles). Ladies at the breakfast buffet where very nice and welcoming -- knew basic English. The location is decent -- close to many restaurants, snack street/night market. Easy to get Didi or Taxi. Probably would not stay there again.

Superb services. The receptionist are very friendly and answers to my questions very promptly. The rooms are clean and quite modern, central heating was just nice. The water heaters are great, they have dry and wet bathrooms as well. The housekeepers will ask you if you need any anything since we don’t really like housekeeping. The breakfasts were standard. Location is good, quite near walking distances to various attractions. We had an enjoyable stay there.

The room is clean and hygienic, and many items are disposable, which is very reassuring. There are many snacks around, and the front desk is very considerate in introducing attractions.

It is very close to the Drum Tower. It is more convenient to go downstairs to eat and drink. However, the hotel room facilities are average and the projector will suddenly stop running. When I started watching it at night, there was no problem. Later, the child took off the room card and turned on the projector again and it showed that it stopped running. I don’t know how I can watch it again after adjusting it for a long time. After shutting it down normally before going to bed, I can’t watch it when I turn it on in the morning. No matter how I adjust it, it always shows that it has stopped running. Although half of the window is a wall, the wall is at least 1.8 meters high, with insufficient light and ventilation. The bathroom is also extremely small, and there is obvious scale on the sink faucet and bathroom faucet. If it weren't for the holidays, the price of this room would be around two hundred...

My husband and I took our wheelchair-bound mother to Kaifeng for a trip and stayed in this hotel for six days. Before we set off, we received a call from the hotel, saying that they had reserved a room for us. What touched me most was that it was already past 11 o'clock in the evening when we arrived at the hotel. The proprietress and the front desk waiter had been waiting for us. When they saw us get off the car, the proprietress and the girls at the front desk enthusiastically arranged and helped with the luggage. At the same time, a cup of hot tea was handed to us. Drinking a cup of hot tea and listening to the wonderful Henan accent made us feel warm in our hearts! The front desk quickly checked in, and soon we said goodnight! The hotel's breakfast was a familiar home-cooked meal, with sweet potatoes, pumpkins, fried dough sticks, buns, flower rolls, jujube cakes, steamed dumplings, eggs, fried noodles, a few stir-fried vegetables, a few cold dishes, wontons, milk, soy milk, and coffee. It was very comfortable to eat. The hotel room is fully equipped with a single bed and a double bed, which is just right for the three of us to sleep. The large floor-to-ceiling windows are sunny, and we sit in front of the window to drink tea, watching the busy streets with people coming and going, and experiencing the fireworks of the ancient capital of Kaifeng. The hotel staff is very good. If you have any needs, they are solved immediately with just a phone call. Whether it is the front desk, restaurant or room cleaning, the service staff always greets you with a smile and provides warm service, making us feel at home and as touched as if we had met family.

I always like to stay at Hanting Hotel. During my trip to Kaifeng, I got a zero-pressure superior king room. The room is large, but the hygiene is average, especially the toiletries box, trash can and other places. The price of the May Day hotel is acceptable, and the hygiene is average. The hotel has its own parking lot. It is next to the Drum Tower and not far from Daxiangguo Temple. The location is good and the breakfast is good. I hope the hotel will train the cleaning staff well and clean it thoroughly.

The hotel is easy to find. There is a night market snack at the door that is said to be loved by locals. The taste is good and the price is affordable! The hotel has a complete breakfast variety. The spicy soup here is a local specialty. The front desk staff is warm and thoughtful. When checking in, they also sent Kaifeng specialty snacks. Especially the waiters 1, 6 and 8 were attentive and answered all questions. They recommended the surrounding specialties and tasted good. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance. I recommend everyone to experience it (>_<)
