Songchao Bianjing Hotel (Kaifeng Drum Tower Square)

This time I came to Henan with my mother, and our second stop was Kaifeng. I had a good impression of this hotel when I just checked in. This hotel provides body lotion (the first hotel in Luoyang did not have it. We came from Guangdong and did not know that the weather in Henan would be so dry, so we did not bring face cream, hand cream and body lotion). I specially booked a deluxe double bed to rest comfortably, but I did not expect to be woken up on the first night of my stay! It woke me and my mother up at 12 o'clock! As you can see in the video below, there is a loud running water sound. At first I thought it was the smart toilet that was malfunctioning and kept flushing, but when I got up I found that it was not the case. I kept looking for where the sound was coming from, and when I looked up I found that it was coming from the ceiling vent at the shower door. I guess it was the upstairs resident who was taking a shower. I have never stayed in a hotel with such poor soundproofing! I was noisy from 12 o'clock to 1 o'clock in the morning and couldn't fall asleep at all. I was very tired from playing these days and wanted to have a good rest, but I didn't sleep well and was very angry. I ran to the front desk and asked them to change my room! But they said that the room was fully booked and the other empty rooms were for maintenance and could only be moved when the tenants checked out tomorrow. I asked to be moved to the top floor! The next day I went out and found the front desk and asked them to move me there immediately. I asked for compensation for my loss and a refund of one night's room fee, and the hotel agreed. In this respect, the service attitude is very good. They moved me to a room of the same type on the 6th floor that day. Because I did not get a good rest the night before and was in a bad mental state, I did not have the energy to go on the next trip, so I had to go back to the hotel early to catch up on sleep. However, the soundproofing is not very good. I can hear people talking in the corridor clearly. I hope the hotel can pay more attention to the internal facilities. The problem of pipe sound insulation! To avoid this problem

The hotel is in a great location, not far from Longting and Drum Tower. The landscape of the atrium is very atmospheric, and the rooms are comfortable and quiet. Xiao Meng at the front desk also provided friendly and thoughtful service.

The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is clean and tidy, the curtains open and close automatically, the bathroom shower room is separated into wet and dry areas, the washbasin is large and is independently set outside the bathroom, which is very convenient and comfortable to use. The hotel provides free supper and snacks, which is very heartwarming. The free breakfast was good too. Later, I stayed in the original room for two more nights. All in all, this trip to Kaifeng was very pleasant.

The Drum Tower Night Market is right next to it. It is in the city center and convenient for travel. Xiaoyu at the front desk is very nice and welcoming. I felt very good and stayed another night. There is also a robot to deliver food, which is very good. Recommended

The hotel has its own parking lot, which is very large. Next door is the First Floor Restaurant. There are snacks when you go out at night. It is very close to the Bookstore Street. Turn right and it is at the next intersection. It is within three kilometers of Kaifeng Mansion and Qingming Shanghe Tu. The service is very good, especially the beautiful front desk lady Xiao Zhao. She is very good at service. She answers all questions with a smile. I booked three rooms and they gave me a floor on the first floor. There are small lights on the top floor in the corridor at night, which is very beautiful. There are free chrysanthemum tea, masks, alcohol wipes, and eye wipes in the lobby on the first floor. The air conditioning in the room is very good and warm. There are free supper at night, including wonton, noodles, egg soup, and sour soup noodles. It started a little late at 22:00, so I didn't experience it. The hotel allows dogs to stay. It is the best choice for Kaifeng tourism.
