Location: Unique and unique. Located between Wansui Mountain Wuxia City and Qingming Riverside Park. The room also has a small courtyard where you can watch the sunset. Facilities: The teapot set and ice bucket design in the room are the most favorite and very delicate. The nightgown is close-fitting and comfortable. Service: The concierge provides shuttle buses, pick-up and drop-off stations, and chartered cars (4 or 8 hours). This is a great help, after all, it is very difficult to get a taxi during the National Day holiday, and parking is also not easy. Unfortunately, because there were too many people on the holiday, the concierge could not lead us to visit various places in the hotel, so we only saw the tip of the iceberg of the hotel landscape. Environment: The accommodation building and the front desk building are separated, and only connected by a small bridge on the first floor, which requires passing through two partition doors. The room 1127 we stayed in was close to the partition door. When we fell asleep at night, we could still hear the movement of the partition door opening and closing and the noisy voices in the corridor. The sound insulation of the room needs to be improved.

I would rate this hotel as average. Disappointed that no one at the registration desk spoke English. Room had a lovely view (12th floor) but wallpaper was torn and patched with large stickers. I had to ask for our room to be tidied (dump trash, fresh towels, more water bottles). Ladies at the breakfast buffet where very nice and welcoming -- knew basic English. The location is decent -- close to many restaurants, snack street/night market. Easy to get Didi or Taxi. Probably would not stay there again.

Fantastic location near night Market and temple. Night view room is worth it (overlooking drum tower). Room was clean and had great features. Ac and light controls were in english, helpful for me. Check in and check out we're a bit messy/hectic since there was no visible way to queue and people rushed the desk. Staff were helping multiple guests at same time taking IDs from anyone that offered. Also when we asked staff how far train station was they neglected to tell us there were two train stations. Fortunately, our didi driver clarified.

A very stylish courtyard, the arranged room also enjoys a large garden, you can enjoy the moon! The overall decoration style of the hotel is very ancient in the Song Dynasty. It is also equipped with a gym, study, and Kung Fu tea room. I am deeply surprised by the southern Anhui people who love Kung Fu tea! When checking out, I also sent water and souvenirs intimately! It is also very close to the Qingming Shangheyuan Scenic Area, and it takes 5 minutes to ride a shared bicycle! This time I am in a hurry, I hope I have the opportunity to come to the immersive experience of Kaifeng.

Superb services. The receptionist are very friendly and answers to my questions very promptly. The rooms are clean and quite modern, central heating was just nice. The water heaters are great, they have dry and wet bathrooms as well. The housekeepers will ask you if you need any anything since we don’t really like housekeeping. The breakfasts were standard. Location is good, quite near walking distances to various attractions. We had an enjoyable stay there.

My husband and I took our wheelchair-bound mother to Kaifeng for a trip and stayed in this hotel for six days. Before we set off, we received a call from the hotel, saying that they had reserved a room for us. What touched me most was that it was already past 11 o'clock in the evening when we arrived at the hotel. The proprietress and the front desk waiter had been waiting for us. When they saw us get off the car, the proprietress and the girls at the front desk enthusiastically arranged and helped with the luggage. At the same time, a cup of hot tea was handed to us. Drinking a cup of hot tea and listening to the wonderful Henan accent made us feel warm in our hearts! The front desk quickly checked in, and soon we said goodnight! The hotel's breakfast was a familiar home-cooked meal, with sweet potatoes, pumpkins, fried dough sticks, buns, flower rolls, jujube cakes, steamed dumplings, eggs, fried noodles, a few stir-fried vegetables, a few cold dishes, wontons, milk, soy milk, and coffee. It was very comfortable to eat. The hotel room is fully equipped with a single bed and a double bed, which is just right for the three of us to sleep. The large floor-to-ceiling windows are sunny, and we sit in front of the window to drink tea, watching the busy streets with people coming and going, and experiencing the fireworks of the ancient capital of Kaifeng. The hotel staff is very good. If you have any needs, they are solved immediately with just a phone call. Whether it is the front desk, restaurant or room cleaning, the service staff always greets you with a smile and provides warm service, making us feel at home and as touched as if we had met family.

The location of this hotel is very convenient for driving. It is about 4 kilometers away from the core scenic area, and it only takes ten minutes to drive. Of course, it is natural to have traffic jams and queues around the scenic area during the National Day holiday. For such things, you can only be calm. In terms of price, all hotels in Kaifeng have increased their prices significantly during the National Day. In comparison, I have seen that this hotel has not increased that much, so although the price is not cheap, it is still acceptable compared with other hotels. In terms of environment, we specially booked a parent-child room. The room is big and sufficient for two kids to play freely. The two beds of 1.8+1.2 meters can be put together to accommodate three adults and two children. It is a little crowded but not a big problem. The hygiene is very good and the basic facilities are very good, especially for children. For example, there are children's special toiletries, duck faucets, raised stools, and children's slippers, which are all great. There is also a soft sofa with a big ball on it in the room, which is very fun and comfortable to lie on. The children can finally have something to play with. The bathroom is separate for washing, toilet, and shower, and the area is very large and it is superb. There are two points that can be improved in terms of facilities. One is that the buttons for adjusting the room lights are not convenient enough. There are many modes such as brightness, light *****, and reading. You may press this to turn on a certain light, and the other lights will go out. Switch to another button to turn on other lights and the previous lights will go out again. So when I first moved in, I spent a lot of time trying to turn on all the lights, and I didn’t understand it in the end. It would be better if the design could be simpler, clearer, and more user-friendly. In addition, there is no refrigerator in the room, which is indeed a bit lacking. I have stayed in so many four-diamond hotels, and they usually have refrigerators. If they can be upgraded in the future, I believe the guest experience will be even better. In terms of service, there was someone at the front desk to help drag the heavy suitcases when checking in and checking out; my second baby wanted to drink milk, so I left a message hoping to get more water to make milk, and then they really gave me a few more bottles of water the next day, and they also gave me yogurt and waffles every day, which both babies liked; the family needed two more quilts to sleep together, and they were quickly delivered and installed; the room I booked did not include breakfast, so I called to order it, and they directly gave me breakfast for three people on the first day. I felt it was pretty good, and I planned to spend money to order breakfast later, but the Kaifeng night market was too awesome, and the scenic spots were open very late, so I played very late every day and came back, and I ate all kinds of food at night, so I couldn't get out of bed in the morning, and I couldn't eat anything. In the end, the old man had breakfast for one person for one day. When I checked out, I took the initiative to say that I should pay for breakfast for one person, and the front desk readily waived it, which was really considerate. I had a very nice 4 nights stay in the hotel. The position is not central in the city but it’s very well connected with bus transports and it’s easy to get to the center quickly. At the hoteI was always able to find some personnel that could speak English, which is very important to me, being a foreigner. The room, including the bathroom, was always clean, the furniture nice, the food good, I especially appreciated the breakfast with a lot of choice, both sweet and not. I didn’t take advantage of everything the hotel had to offer because of lack of time since I came to attend a conference, but I’m over all very satisfied with my stay.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express for a total of 7 nights during this trip: 2 nights at Kaifeng Dichen, 2 nights at Luoyang Kaiyuan, 2 nights at Xi'an Bell Tower, and 1 night at Zhengzhou Longzi Lake. I feel that the price/performance ratio is very good, especially the location where land is at a premium. I bought a special coupon at the Xi'an Bell Tower store for only 300 yuan a night. Each store provides free breakfast for children. My baby is over 160cm tall. The Luoyang and Zhengzhou stores also upgraded to a 35-square-meter room. The facilities in the Kaifeng store are very new, the breakfast is rich, and the haggis soup is particularly delicious. It feels good to stay here, like it 👍
