"Good morning , The facilities and service met our expectations. We would have appreciated having a room with a view of the sea, the mountain, the swimming pool or the gardens, even if it meant paying a little more, coming from France to admire the beauty of the landscapes. We had a room (53) which overlooked the street on one side (with a small terrace) and the parking lot on the other! We wouldn't have stayed for one night but we spent 6... We are therefore very disappointed by TRIP's contribution to this reservation, next time we will contact the hotel directly. Cdt"

"Overall, the hotel is decent. Friendly staff. But, their air cons are relatively old, so do expect sound. If you’re light sleeper, do bring a pair of ear plugs!"

"Close to the airport, there is a bus in front of the hotel. Parking fees in Honolulu are very expensive, and the hotel also charges $40 for parking. It is very convenient to take the bus directly into the city. Although the hotel is not very new, the hygiene is still good. We stayed there three times. We didn't want to rent a car when hopping islands, so we stayed here"

"In the hotel's restaurant. We had to wait some considerable time to be attended to, we ended up seating ourselves, getting our own menus and water, whilst the sole server juggled his other responsibilities. After a very ordinary fish & chips meal, with the thinnest fries we've ever seen we received a bill for the equivalent of AUD $90 to which not only had a 4% kitchen charge been added but additionally a further 18% service charge. Neither the meal or service justified this charge in any way. We left what we considered to be a fair and reasonable payment which more than covered the cost. For the AUD$ 75 cost we could have fed four people with a far better quality meal. We had been unable to use our drinks voucher in the restaurant, so after the meal we went to the bar in the same hotel to use our vouchers to get a drink. Whilst there a very disgruntled server from the restaurant and some random woman from the bar came and accosted us, snatching a jam jar of tap water we had brought round with us to finish at the bar. We were basically accused of stealing a jam jar of tap water whilst sitting at a bar in the same hotel, as paying guests! A waiter from the restaurant hung around the entire time just to ensure he got his jam jar back! Next morning we loaded our own cases onto the free shuttle bus. The driver tried to dismantle our cases, we asked him to leave our cases to allow space for other guests & we wanted them to stand in the luggage space adjacent to the rack, as they had done on the way to the hotel. The driver began shouting at us, threw a tantrum & went to get his boss, who came out & saw no issue with our cases. The driver then began driving recklessly, racing round corners and braking heavily. Guests had to tell him to slowdown and stop driving dangerously. He then made all the guests remove their own bags unassisted after we informed him his behaviour certainly did not warrant any tips! A shocking & horrible end to our holiday & not a very good advertisement for the USA Dreadful tipping culture of entitlement even if service does not warrant it! ."

"The hotel facilities are very new. The location is not near Waikiki Beach. It is about 3km away from the beach. If you want to go to the beach, you need to take a taxi or bus. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel. The front desk service is very good and enthusiastic."

"Located in the legendary city center. The mattress was sunken, and it was covered with a blanket, and the color was a bit inexplicable. Intensely contact yourself and bring a 4-piece set. Due to the old mattress, the head and feet are higher than the buttocks after going to bed. Service is acceptable. The air-conditioning sound is crazy loud, estimated to be 50 decibels. The space is larger and the sea view is a little bit too. The equipment is relatively complete, and you can cook if you are diligent."

"Staying at Manoa Inn feels like stepping into a living piece of Honolulu’s layered past. This plantation-style historical house is full of quiet character, from its timeworn woodwork to the gentle creak of its stairways. The inn is surrounded by gardens that seem to breathe—ferns unfolding, orchids slipping open, birds singing from hidden corners. One morning, I sipped coffee to the chatter of parrots and caught the city unfolding below through a frame of palms. The location is as thoughtful as the house itself—steps away from the East-West Center, the serene carp garden, and the Manoa Japanese Tea House. Nearby cafés and small eateries feed both hunger and curiosity without fanfare. Nothing here feels manufactured. The inn doesn’t shout for attention—it invites you to listen, to linger, to notice. I left with a sense of having not just visited, but having been quietly welcomed."

"First of all, I want to praise Ctrip's customer service. On the day of check-in, the hotel said that the order had not been received. I contacted Ctrip's customer service and it was resolved within 30 minutes. It should have been early morning in China at that time. I really appreciate the speed of the customer service. The hotel is relatively new, and the sea view room I booked has a nice view. Then the front desk is still very friendly, and any problems can be solved quickly. The flight arrived in the morning local time, but I was checked in immediately, and they took the initiative to help me accumulate Marriott points. The biggest problem is housekeeping. On the day of check-in, I felt that the sheets were not new, and I could see a little shoe print and hair at the end of the bed. But I was too tired that day and didn't care. The next day when I was going to take a bath, I found that the wall of the bathtub was covered with mud, and it was obvious that it had not been wiped. When the cleaning lady came in, I asked to change the sheets and wipe the bathtub. The old lady told me that I had to apply to the front desk to change the sheets. So when I went out, I told the front desk about the sheets and bathtub again, but the front desk's response was obviously that the cleaners should change the sheets automatically. . . Then when I came back at night, I found that the sheets had been changed, but the bathtub was still not cleaned!!! Maybe because I wiped it a little the night before, the cleaner thought it was clean. But when I returned to the room, I found that the bathtub was still full of my hair that I had lost that morning. I left a $5 tip. But to be honest, the room you gave me was not clean, so why should I get more tips? Other minor issues were that the shower water pressure was not good. And maybe because of environmental protection, there was no mineral water in the room, and there were no other supplies except two cotton pads. But you can call the front desk to ask for bathrobes and slippers for free. The hotel has been open for less than a year, and the maintenance feels average. At best, it is a business hotel. If you are on vacation, apart from the problem of traffic jams, it is recommended to stay in Waikiki."
