This is my second time stay. The hotel is very new, rooms are spotlessly clean, great shower, comfortable beddings, high quality service. There is a gym and spa which is good for those who like using the facilities. It’s a bit far from JR though but they provide free shuttle. I haven’t used the shuttle service since we’re driving, so the location is not a problem. Simply liked everything. Highly recommended.

It was a wonderful stay. The hotel management was excellent, and the room was in great condition. I want to give a special mention to Miss Gotanda 五反田, who guided me after check-in. Her detailed explanations and warm smile set a positive tone even before I checked in. The hotel's hot spring overlooks Sakurajima volcano, enjoy hot spring while watching the sunrise was a truly delightful experience. I will definitely come back again next time.

Hotel may not be the newest, location is superb. The room offers a beautiful view of Sakurajima volcano. Having a convenience store right across the street adds to the convenience. Indoor parking is available, but spaces are limited, so arriving late may result in difficulty finding a spot.

The hotel is very conveniently located, a 10-15 minute walk to the central station and two large shopping malls.
The breakfast has a lot of choices and is worth the money.
The rooms are small but acceptable.
Most of the waiters don't speak English well, so we have to use the Google translate app on our phones to communicate.

I felt it was an old inn . There was a sound that I was worried about due to the twist of the faucet, and the indoor shoes were not new. But the response was very kind. Breakfast was delicious and the parking fee was cheap.
I thought it would be better if there was a bottle of water in the room.

Tatami room, traditional Japanese style such as quilt, dokonomama ceramic decoration, long-standing Japanese life memories, hot spring baths called source water, breakfast restaurants decorated with Satsuma ceramics and pretty ceramic tableware are calmly dressed I admire the Chinese table and the hearty staff, and everything was good, especially the dinner with the sister restaurant Guwoo, and the kind host couple who treated me sincerely!

WWai HoExcellent Service: This hotel provide guests an exceptional service. Those are friendly and helpful staff members and they are willing to help.
GGuest UserExcellent location, in the Kagoshimachuo station. Great price. Decent room, not cramped at all and space to lay out your luggage. Did not order breakfast. There are so many choices outside the hotel.
GGuest UserHotel can be accessed directly from the JR underpass, towards basement of hotel building. Tram station conveniently located in front of hotel. Hotel faces JR Station. Room is cozy with plenty of wall sockets. Good value for money. Room had lovely view of Mt Sakurajima.
GGuest UserThe Onsen public bath is fantastic with very generous timing! And the regular evening noodles, with also ice cream and morning drinks. Always my favorite !
AAnonymous UserBest hotel choice for location. Right in the centre of Tenmonkan. Plenty of food options and shopping. Even the airport shuttle stops directly at the hotel front (50m). It is walking distance (20min) to Kagoshima-chuo JR station, but if you choose tram or bus, the stop is also 100m away from the hotel. Setback is only the bath amenities as shaving foam, face wash and lotion is not provided (make sure you bring your own). Public bath is ok, has a sauna which is good. Check-in and out process is fully machine automated with a luggage storage section too at the side. Very easy. Breakfast service staff is very good, only four breakfast set choices if you purchase it as part of your room but quality is very good with local taste. I suggest you try at least once the breakfast if you stay here.
TTiffany Ann BooneThe best staff anywhere! This is a full service hotel with spa like features and each room. From the rainfall shower to the massage chair and decorative ambient backlit glass. They offer massages as well. (for a fee of course) The bed was very comforatable and I loved all the various types of pillows. My favortie is the buckwheat filled. Tully’s coffee is right at the entrance. The hotel is in a great spot….Tram, bus taxis and shopping are all right there. I love it there and I already miss it.
LLiuxiaomiPersonal opinion:
Pros: The front desk service attitude is good, polite and enthusiastic. The room layout is well designed, and the transportation is convenient. There is a tram station and Lawson convenience store across the street.
Cons: The floor is stained. We stayed there for a long time, so we didn't need to clean the room, make the bed, or change towels and garbage bags. We didn't want the cleaning staff to enter the room, but usually there will be a magnetic sign on the hotel door, but this hotel didn't have one. When checking in, the front desk told us to choose on the TV, but we couldn't operate it conveniently without language barriers, which was a bit annoying!
SShawnThe location is superb, room was clean, spacious and with a nice balcony. The room provided all you need on a leisure trip.
The only downside was it was super complicated and time consuming to contact the hostel for entrance pin, check-in procedure and check-in number. We asked the front desk receptionist of our previous hotel to call the hostel number stated on trip.com booking confirmation email in morning, but no one picked up; called again at 3pm, and the hostel hotline said the number was wrong and referred us to call another number. If we did not have the assistance from a Japanese local receptionist from another hotel, I dont think we could get the entrance pin and check-in procedure information smoothly.
I recommend this hostel to Japanese local, or tourists with a Japanese mobile number to make calls/able to find assistance from Japanese local people.
BBookClean room, nice beddings and good space appreciated. Hospitality and service was minimal to non existent and breakfast was outright poor. Which hotel in the world would give hotdogs (occupying two choices out of three) to guests as breakfast (not free). The other option is the unappetising granola yoghurt, or in takeaway boxes. Overall, I think there was the property was overpriced and remember not to choose the breakfast option!
WWendy S TThe staff members were very hospitable. Check in was fast and Jeffrey gave us detailed explanation of the facilities of the hotel. He also greeted us every time he met us in the lobby.
While the renovation in the room is old fashioned, it is kept clean. We were very lucky that we had good view of Sakurajima during our two days stay.
Breakfast in the lobby cafe and dinner in the Japanese restaurant were good.
