The Sherton Hotel in Kagoshima was an absolute gem of a hotel! This is our first visit to Japan, and we are admittedly nervous about the language barrier and cultural change from the US. From the moment we checked in, the staff has bent over backwards to make sure we are comfortable and have done a fantastic job to make this stay completely comfortable and enjoyable. The location is perfect right at the center of downtown Kagoshima, and the rooms, restaurants, and common spaces have more in common with a Four Seasons than with what is standard Sheraton in the US. We were not able to take advantage of the spa, but the Onsen (Hot Springs Sauna) was so relaxing and rejuvenating — especially after 26 hours of flights to get here! HIGHLY recommended. Thank you to the staff that has helped make our 4 days in Kagoshima a memorable experience! Now off to Hiroshima!

Dongheng Hotel has always been the preferred hotel group for me to travel in Japan, reasonable price plus excellent location also appear in this hotel. The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from Central Station, there are convenience stores nearby, there are shops across the road, There is also a food store on the street behind the store street. It is convenient to find a supermarket in about 15 minutes walk. The room is a little bigger than other Dongheng INNs that have lived in the past, and it is as clean as usual. Breakfast seems to end half an hour earlier than I lived. There is no supplement after 9 o'clock. This is A little points. Overall, the hotel is very good. The Dongheng INN series continues to be my first choice for accommodation in Japan. If I have the opportunity to go to Kagoshima again, I will stay here.

For self-driving travel, the location of this hotel is very good and it is very convenient to go to any Kagoshima attractions. However, please note that the parking lot is closed from 0:00-07:00 every night, and the hotel will still arrange for room cleaning every day. There is a chapel where weddings can be held. Convenient transportation, new and comfortable facilities, the fried pork chop shop not far from the next door is not very famous and very delicious! Thank you for your help in storing your luggage and arranging the room in advance. Unfortunately, this trip is in a hurry and I have not been able to use the free afternoon tea coupon (a cup of black tea or coffee free) that the clerk brother specially gave. Leave the west exit of the central station (big camera side) and go to the JR Kyushu Hotel. Just walk the second corner of the family on the road from the station rotary and go to the left hand. It is a little difficult to find, but I am surprised by the distance feeling too close to the station. The building is a relaxed atmosphere, the air conditioning is effective, and the dormitory and the water are clean. The facilities in the building are only shower booths, but if you want to take a large bath, there are 2 ～ 3 public baths nearby. It is not a distance to cool the hot water (it is not sweating in summer), so it is also a wind flow to go to the local public bath in Kagoshima. In Kagoshima City, where there are few cheap inn, it seems to be a regular inn because of the goodness of Cospa.
