"This hotel has a good location; you can walk to the observatory in the evening to get a distant view of Sakurajima volcano. The complimentary tea bags offered by the hotel were also quite nice. Overall, staying in Kagoshima offers good value for money. If I come back next time, I'd be happy to stay here again."

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's right across the street from Kagoshima-Chuo Station, the city tram stop, and bus stops, making it super easy to get anywhere. What's even better is that the hotel elevator goes directly down to B1, which connects to an underground pass. This means you can easily get to the other side of the road to catch transportation, whether it's scorching hot or raining. Plus, there's an airport bus stop on the hotel's first floor, providing a seamless connection to the airport. The transportation here is truly convenient beyond imagination. In terms of daily necessities, there's a 5-story Aeon mall just across one traffic light, and a Lawson convenience store on the hotel's first floor. You'll never have to worry about stocking up on food and drinks. For views, there are two directions. To the west, you can see the Ferris wheel at Chuo Station, and to the east, you can catch a glimpse of Sakurajima volcano, though it's completely dark at night and only visible during the day. The hotel rooms are quite small, with most of the space dedicated to the bathroom, which surprisingly has a separate wet and dry area. The bedroom, however, couldn't be any smaller. With two beds placed, they practically merge, leaving almost no space for luggage. Moving around is a bit of a squeeze."

"This hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location, just a few steps from the Kagoshima-Chuo Station gates for both local lines and the Shinkansen, right to the hotel entrance. If you plan on frequently using JR trains, this is your top choice. Beyond the prime location, the rooms aren't small, and amenities like washing machines and a smoking room are available, though there's no communal hot spring bath. The hotel offers two breakfast options: Japanese and Western, with the Japanese breakfast being more extensive. Many might worry about noise due to the proximity to the station, but in my personal experience, it was perfectly quiet for a good night's sleep. One thing to note: full room cleaning only happens on the third consecutive day of your stay. For the first two days, only a light cleaning is provided (towel and pajama replacement, and trash removal – bedding isn't changed). However, if you need a full cleaning, you can inform the front desk before 10 AM. Overall rating: 4.8!"

"The hotel isn't too far from Kagoshima-Chuo Station by taxi, and it's right opposite Sakurajima. You can see Sakurajima and the ocean from the room, so the view is fantastic – a really beautiful ocean view room. Plus, the room size is quite large for a Japanese hotel. On the second floor, there's an outdoor swimming pool and a hot spring, and you can also see Sakurajima and the ocean from the pool area, which is great. The Japanese restaurant on the second floor serves delicious Japanese food. Getting a taxi from the hotel to Kagoshima-Chuo Station can be a bit inconvenient, but there's a bus stop near the ferry terminal, where you can catch a bus to the city center and Kagoshima-Chuo Station."

"It's very clean, and the bedding and toiletries are brand new. On the first floor, the lobby offers a variety of DHC cleansers, toners, and makeup removers, so if you're not too picky, you don't even need to bring any toiletries. It's right next to the Tenmonkan shopping district, which is very convenient, and the 'Woa Ren' restaurant there is delicious. I'll definitely go back again; I really enjoyed the food in Kagoshima, and if I return, I'll stay at this hotel again."

"Amazing hotel, truly. Conveniently located near the airport shuttle stop and tram stop. All the combini nearby, lots of restaurants and cafes. It is situated at the corner of the arcade quarters, so it is very comfortable to walk almost anywhere under the roof that protects you from both sun and rain. Walking distance from ferry to Sakurajima and toppy/rocket port to Tanegashima and Yakushima (sadly, no arcades on that stretch of distance). The rooms are nice and clean, with comfortable beds and pillows, amenities are amazing (bath salts and coffee drips even!). The service is top-notch! They even provided a shoe drying machine and helped us on several occasions. Probably best value for money in Kagoshima if you're looking for an affordable but comfortable stay."

"A new hotel with excellent location. It’s just next to the shopping streets with lots of restaurants & souvenir shops. Got amenities such as bath salt, tea bags, drip coffee & cleansing oil/ lotion at hotel lobby for you to pick up. The restaurant where you take breakfast commands a stunning panoramic view. Will stay here again."

"The views of the bay and the volcano are absolutely stunning, 'picturesque' doesn't even begin to cover it! My room type was a garden view twin, so I couldn't see the volcano or the sea. It was all about value for money, at around 600-700 RMB per night. The room was spacious enough (by Japanese standards), and the luggage rack could fit two medium-sized suitcases. The bathroom was also quite large. If you want to see the volcano, you can head to the courtyard or walk five minutes to the Shiroyama Observatory. You can soak in the large hot spring bath while looking at the volcano, but we only took a quick look around the baths and didn't really try them out, so I can't comment much. The hotel shuttle bus runs every half hour, which is pretty convenient. The city view bus stop is near the Shiroyama Observatory. Just ask the receptionist at the hotel lobby on the 4th floor how to get to the observatory; we turned left then right and it was a five-minute walk. By the way, the city view bus route is a bit winding and there aren't many buses. It's better to take the JR to Sengan-en. The JR has a stop right at the entrance of Sengan-en, and the platform itself is the best spot to view Sakurajima."

"The location is superb, room was clean, spacious and with a nice balcony. The room provided all you need on a leisure trip. The only downside was it was super complicated and time consuming to contact the hostel for entrance pin, check-in procedure and check-in number. We asked the front desk receptionist of our previous hotel to call the hostel number stated on trip.com booking confirmation email in morning, but no one picked up; called again at 3pm, and the hostel hotline said the number was wrong and referred us to call another number. If we did not have the assistance from a Japanese local receptionist from another hotel, I dont think we could get the entrance pin and check-in procedure information smoothly. I recommend this hostel to Japanese local, or tourists with a Japanese mobile number to make calls/able to find assistance from Japanese local people."
