We visited Okutsu Onsen on a trip around the Mimasaka Three Hot Springs. It is located deep in the mountains of the Chugoku Mountains. Ikeda-ya is a long-established inn that represents this area, and while it retains its old-fashioned charm, I learned when making the reservation that it has been renovated in recent years. It offers rooms with river views and a variety of delicious dishes. The hot spring is particularly noteworthy. The colorless, transparent, and elegant water is a bicarbonate spring, and you can enjoy watching the bubbles form on your skin. The exquisitely warm water is irresistible in the coming hot season. It is a free-flowing spring, so it is also recommended for hot spring enthusiasts.

I got to stay here as part of a group tour to Tsuyama. The hotel is not in the best location for visiting Tsuyama if you don't have access to a car, or as in our case a tour bus. There is also no onsite restaurant, but they do offer unlimited teas and coffees in the communal lobby area as well as a microwave so that you may heat up food from outside. There is a market shop across from the street and also a convenience store right next door where you can purchase food. The rooms were wonderfully spacious and very well looked after. I loved being able to curl up on the seat with a hot drink to read my book. The toilet room and shower room were both exceptionally clean. I had a wonderful time enjoying the waterfall shower! For an extra charge there is the option of a breakfast box. The boxes were filled with delicious and healthy traditional cold Japanese breakfast items. These boxes were huge and doubled up as a lunch for me.

There is a delicious izakaya next door and a department store is nearby, which is very convenient. The room smells a little, so if you have an air purifier in the room in the future, it will be a perfect inn.
A new hotel in the center of Tsuyama. The atmosphere that came to the hot spring inn with the Japanese taste of the building and the entrance. The lobby area is elegantly arranged. This time, I booked a modest twin with a comfortable floor ”Sankyu” terrace. I really wanted to make a room with a hot spring, but it seems that it is not possible to make a reservation until one person. I arrived early, but I will be cleaned soon. please. it was good to have you in the room early. just check in and liquidate? like a cheap hotel in developing countries. why not check out? The rooms are not large but relax in a Japanese atmosphere. The style of taking off the shoes and rising. There is also a terrace in addition to the sofa and you can see Tsuyama Jo castle. Refrigerator, tea & coffee set, electric pot, safety box, Complete with free drinking water, yukata and pajamas. The bathroom is only shower, but there is a rain shower and there is no problem because there is a hot spring bath on the 8th floor of the hotel. Amenities include nectar, honey Mitsubachi shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toothpaste set, shaving, brush, cotton & cotton swab, shampoo cap, etc. In addition, the cleaning and makeup water of Margaret Josephine. The ”Tsuyama Onsen Jomi SPA” on the 8th floor has a large bath and open air, and Tsuyama Jo castle can be seen. The sauna (with TV) is also complete. Is hot water really hot? No hot spring feeling. It was written in effect, but it was written in comfort floor Sankyu. The view terrace lounge ”SpaLiving & amp; Terrace” on the top floor can be used. Despite the weekdays, there were some people in the public bath, but the terrace here was in a rental state. There is an indoor lounge and terrace, and the wind on the terrace is pleasant. There are magazines. Drinks are only cherry blossoms, aquarius, and acelora drinks. Wine and beer. Breakfast is Japanese buffet. Despite the weekdays of the corona, it is very crowded. Maybe it is because it is discounting for the people of Okayama Prefecture. Unlike Tokyo, I was worried that the sense of crisis for the corona of Okayama people was thin. I stay at a hotel in the corona pass for the first time, but this dense breakfast is the first time. There are not so many kinds of dishes. Because there are many people, the food is not replenished in time, and it seems to be a leftover meal even if I go to take it. I'm worried that there are similar dishes such as meat potatoes and potatoes. Vegetables were delicious, but omelettes and other omelettes are different prices. even if the tableware that has been eaten on the table is stacked, it is not possible to be squeezed. even if you greet the staff when you leave the restaurant, you ignore it. It was 4〇 without an unpleasant experience at the last breakfast, but it was a perfect inn for the stay.
The front desk is good, the breakfast and night curry are delicious, and I am very satisfied.
I often come to Tsuyama City, so I plan to stay here from the next time.
Walk for 5 minutes from Tsuyama Station. The old Japanese hotel, the service is enthusiastic, quiet, and the rest is very comfortable. We stayed in 6 tatami mats, which is spacious and a new one nearby. Wakayama ramen is delicious.
I came to Tsuyama to see Sakura Festival. It is a business hotel in front of the entrance of Tsuyama Jo castle, and Tsuyama Jo castle is visible from most rooms and is a great location. I requested the upper floor at the time of booking, so I was able to see the lit up Tsuyama Jo castle. The breakfast was also devised and it was quite delicious. There is a private parking lot, and it is absolutely recommended for the time of the cherry blossoms.
I checked in late at the transfer from Osaka. The restaurant in the building is closed due to the influence of corona. There are 3 convenience stores around, so I bought lunch and tweezers and ate them in the room. It is a large bath in the route inn, but this is complete with sauna and open-air bath. It was enough to satisfy! Breakfast is buffet style and gloves are worn. I had a class B gourmet ”hormone Udon” here. The route inn hotel is my favorite recently because the parking lot is large.
