Old-fashioned and rigid service
Unfriendly to tourists
No idea about transportation to famous attractions, not only no help, but also obstruction, while ordinary bus drivers and Soba coffee shop owners are willing to help
Eating in the mountains is not easy, and breakfast purchased the day before is flatly refused

The hotel is right next to a stream and you can hear the gurgling water in the room.
There is a hot spring street within walking distance. There are not many people but it is overall very exquisite and has many interesting shops.
The hotel staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. I like it very much.
The portions of the meals are large and I feel very full~
You can also hear the sound of running water in the hot spring pool, which is very pleasant and I like it very much.

This is my first time staying in a traditional Japanese hotel. There are many sliding doors to separate each room, from the entrance to the inner hall to the tea room to the balcony. It faces the mountains and forests, and you can hear the chirping of insects at night. Dinner and breakfast were sumptuous and the food exquisite.
The only thing that can be improved is that the room smells a bit, which may be caused by moisture. Ventilation for a longer time will improve it.
