Not the best Marriott I had ever visited. Booked because of the pyramid view. Room is spacious but a little old, service at the buffet is so-so (restaurant staff started eating buffet food 30 mins before closing - which was weird to looks we were still dining in), room service menu choices are limited (basically the same as in the restaurant with lesser options).

All the staff of the hotel were VERY friendly, courteous, willing to help at all time, making the stay a VERY comfortable one. The stay was MORE than just comfortable.

Mosquitoes 🦟 in my room, I had to abandoned the hotel for another hotel, and they didn’t refund any money back to me

The hotel offers a view of the pyramids during breakfast, so you don't need to book a room with a view. The price/performance ratio is average, probably because it was during the Easter peak season. The rooms are just average, similar to domestic 4-star hotels.

When I went to Cairo to stay, I chose the Marriott Mena Palace without hesitation. This place has been planted in my heart for a long time. So I chose this hotel without hesitation. Security is very good. Every time you enter the hotel gate, there will be police and police dogs walking around the car. Because it is very close to the pyramids, there are many tourists visiting the pyramids, and all kinds of Egyptian scammers gather here, but I feel very safe in the hotel. This hotel is very large, with beautiful gardens, a beautiful swimming pool, and the breakfast room can face the pyramid. There are many choices for breakfast, but the Arabic food here is really not what we are used to. But the beautiful scenery here, whether it's the sunrise or the beautiful sunset of the fire clouds, is so fascinating, and the service is very good. It is cleaned very clean every day. Although the furniture is relatively old, neither the building nor the weather are good. , but everything is so flavorful.

The best hotel near the pyramids, it is expensive, the facilities are not up to par, the room is a bit old, and the shower is in the bathtub, but this is a common problem of Egyptian hotels. The breakfast is good, the seats outside the pyramids are basically full, and the breakfast room is the most beautiful. In fact, you can stay in the B&B next door, and coming here for breakfast is also a good choice.

I specially booked this place to have breakfast and see the pyramids. The scenery is beautiful and the photos are great. The dinner in the buffet restaurant is average and a bit expensive compared to local consumption.
