The sound insulation effect is extremely poor. You can hear the flushing water in the next room very clearly. The room still has a pungent smell. This hotel does not accept credit cards, only foreign currency cash is accepted. 200 US dollars a night is really worthless. It is absolutely not recommended for Chinese citizens to go there

Serena Kabul is the most luxurious and the safest place to stay in Kabul, Afghanistan. The hotel personnel is highly professional, offering the high quality service from the reception to the room service and food. İt was amazing to see the general manager of the hotel being around all the time and ensuring every guest is pleased and happy. The hotel offers outside pool, well-equipped fitness center, an excellent spa center with sauna and steam room 👍

A beautiful hotel with immaculate, manicured gardens as the centre point around which the separate wings of the hotel are constructed. Security is provided by the current government military forces and as well as being friendly to visiting foreigners is highly professional. I felt completely secure while inside. The rooms are large, comfortable and well furnished. My room overlooked the garden and I would recommend the same - in addition to the peace and quiet it gives an added level of security to be away from the street. The swimming pool, cafe and restaurants are all open (there is a fixed price buffet dinner at 1600 Afs per person) which will provide enough for even the hungriest guest. The breakfast is also buffet style and is plentiful. Without naming any staff I would like to commend the housekeeping, front desk and restaurant staff. They have a truly 5 star quality approach and this is deservedly the best hotel in Afghanistan. Thank you Serena 🙏

I booked executive room and paid $100+ tax extra to get executive lounge and basic facilities which is generally airport pick&drop and laundary. Even in executive lounge I had to pay for every tea and coffee and paid for laundary and airport pick and drop. so it was totally waste of money and staff behavior was too rude with us. We organized 2 event with lunch and dinner for more than 200 people but there was no flexibility from hotel management and their attitude was too rude and bad. We will definately look for another venue on our company hotel stay and event.

The Kabul Serena Hotel is my favorite place to stay in Kabul. It has a wonderful location and it is close to the local market and shopping area. It you are looking for a great place to rest and relax in Kabul then I recommend the Kabul Serena Hotel. 5 Stars. By Gregg L. Friedman MD

The best 5* hotel in Kabul! Two checkpoints, three walls - security here is at its best. The hotel itself is very decent, I was pleased with the well-kept area with fountains. There is a swimming pool, gym, cafe and restaurant. The room is spacious and comfortable. The service here is excellent!
