Best Hotels in Kabelvag, Norway

Basically, it is the configuration of the Samsung Hotel on the outskirts of Beijing. The rooms are small and have balconies. I live in one of the family connected rooms. The doors connected to the two rooms are not locked. It’s terrifying. General health, good hotel location, free parking. The balcony is hydrophilic, others are just fine. Breakfast is a European standard and it has nothing to do.

The room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom equipment is also good. The hot water is enough. There are disposable slippers. The second time I stayed on the return trip, the margarita pizza is delicious. Recommended recommendation is really good.

This is just a great hotel. Location is the best, and the ever best hotel breakfast I have had in Norway. (and I have had a lot of them) One thing that irritates me is that when we checked in the receptionist did not speak Norwegian., so I had to communicate in English. I really think that as a Norwegian holidaying in my own country I should be able to speak my own language. And front office staff should speak Norwegian in addition to other languages. Except for this this hotel is very good.....

Stayed in Skårungen two nights on tour in Lofoten. It it a cozy and very relaxing place to stay, and the breakfast is just what you need to wake up and get going. I stayed in the hotel part of Skårungen above the restaurant, and it was quiet and nice. The beds are fantastic. Would definitely recomend Skårungen if you need a place to stay close to Svolvær and all that Lofoten has to offer.

Before I checked in, I also asked if Ctrip had already charged the hotel! Don't have to pay at the front desk! Ctrip replied and only gave me two room numbers and passwords at the time! Did not tell me that the hotel is no staff! Full buffet! Did not say how the breakfast is! To the hotel at night, there is no password to enter the hotel! Later, I called the other two passwords! After breakfast, the hotel will hang the breakfast bag in front of the door! Hotel no problem! Rich breakfast! However, Ctrip also apologized, and hopes that the business can be strengthened! These should all inform the guests in advance! This hotel does not have a lift! No staff!

My visit to Lofoten was solely because of the Northern Lights. As a solo traveler. a central location, inexpensive, safe, clean are the key factors i base on for the hotel search. Fast Hotel’s convenient location, self-check in, are superb. But during my stay, from check-in till the next morning, the entrance door to my room could not be locked at all and i had to go out without locking my room. Till the next morning a young male employee promised to help fixing it. He did. Was and am grateful to him. On the second night, i ended up not searching for northern light but the LIGHT - electricity broke down and internet connection was also down - from before midnight till 01:29. - and the hotel main entrance door, usually remains closed and is to be opened via pin code - now the sensor is not working (it is now 03:45, still not working), making my plan of going out to observe the northern light and coming back to the hotel not possible. Somehow, during the wee hours at the lobby i met someone who works nearby and stays at the same hotel, taught me how to manully open the faulty main entrance glass door (just use hands, with slight force, to manually slide open the glass doors to both sides. It didn’t require much force at all.) While technical hiccups can be rectified, here is my suggestion to the Hotel - please install a light for writing desk. The whole room has only two side table bed lights. No general light for the room at all (there are recessed ceiling lights but switches cannot be found). At the writing desk, a light sauce is a must-have. That said, i still like the hotel a lot because of its location and self-check in, completely without a Reception counter/area - that is wonderful. G reat is also he closeness to the bus terminal (not noisy at all) is pivotal as the buses (running infrequently in Lofoten) are the “lifeline” for those who visit Lofoten without a rented car. As a solo traveller, i will want to come back to this (and/or similar) Fast Hotel. i like it. It is like a trusted friend, sometimes not feeling well, but a friend is a friend.

I stayed 3 nights in a 2 level rorbuer-like unit with 2 bedrooms. I only stayed at the lower level apar**ent unit since I was solo. The unit was very clean, with a living room, kitchen, dining table and a separate bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The kitchen had utensils for cooking. The unit was very airy and bright with many windows and a door to the deck besides the front door. The unit was surrounded by wooden deck with picnic tables outside. The view was most fascinating. I had the view while I ate inside. I had the view sitting on the sofa. I was surrounded by beautiful views. Although the unit was not a real traditional rorbuer, it felt like a rorbuer. The unit was quiet although it was in between 2 other units. Wifi was strong for streaming movies. There were many outlets for charging. The location was very close to town which had restaurants, supermarket to get food for cooking, stores, pier to board fjord tours. The location could not be better. Breakfast was super with a lot of selections. All email inquiries before my arrival was very promptly replied. There was no message that was not answered. The service was excellent prior to arrival and during the stay.

If this would be a game of ”rock, paper, scissors”, nature would definately beat luxury. This is by no means a luxury hotel if you think of standards and comfort levels - but the surroundings are stunning, the air is crisp and fresh and you have the sea just around the corner. Spend the extra money to use the spa and sauna one evening and be bold and dive into the sea. It is an experience you will not forget in the first place. Basic standard in the rooms, but you have everything you need. Stairs up to the bedrooms are rather steep, so be careful.

The hotel with self-checking (code comes by SMS, has worked well) is simple but functional - our room had a shower area where the toilet was standing, something habitual, but it was clean and OK. A large refrigerator combination in the room was also included with equipment ... Without air conditioning it will be warm in the not very large rooms quickly, but for us it was still OK. The hotel is located just a little away from the port centre (a private marina is nearby, so probably the name). Breakfast was surprisingly good and selective - for the rather high price level also on the lofoten is the hotel a perfect option. The wooden terrace in front of the hotel is a feature for your own picknicks, there are also two kitchens available for use.
