Absolutely great stay in May. Very close to park entrance, loads of parking (more later). Our 3 bed lodge tucked away in a quiet park of the complex was so well equipped. Easily see why families stay for a week - we had 2 nights. No need to check in all on line. Spacious, spotlessly clean and every amenity you could want and just a short stroll through woods to the main building. We ate one night in the restaurant- top quality food, service and ambiance. One night ordered pizza delivered to our lodge and cooked in hotel kitchen. Eat your heat out Domino’s- spectacularly a good. On parking have an EV. yes plenty of charging points/ making them work Huge thanks to Dani who sorted everything out with humour and skill, he is a credit to the hotel. really cannot fault the resort top drawer.

We stayed 5 nights and entrance to the park was included. Absolutely fabulous accommodation, facilities and service, just can't fault it. The house had 3 bedrooms and a sauna shed outside. Lots of cooking utensils in the kitchen. Would highly recommend it!

Our room was a Premium Room Landhuys, which was lovely but very far away. When booking, I wasn't aware that it would be 5 minute walk form the reception, pool and breakfast. Not a good path to go with your luggage, we were very lucky it didn't rain or else it would be all muddy. Other thing that it must be changed is the dinner options and alternatives. As the park closes at 6pm, there are no restaurants available, other than the hotels (that has limited availability), or ordering pizzas at your room. Park restaurants should be open until later. As for the breakfast, it was very limited, with almost no choices to a daity allergy person or vegan. There was no toaster (unbelivable) and the staff wasn't very helpful. The pool is amazing, but the locker room has no soap, shampoo or hairdryer, so if your room is not near, it can be very unpleasent. Honestly I was hopping for better and left a bit disapointed with our stay.

This was our tenth visit to Efteling - we have been coming for 20+ years, initially with our toddlers, now with our adult children, who still love it as much as ever. Originally we stayed in the ('Wonder') hotel but since Bosrijk opened, we have stayed there, as it is ideally suited to a party of 6 (we always take a village for 8 though, for extra space). My main gripe, and the reason I can only give 3 stars, is the shockingly low lighting levels in the house. It is ridiculous - even with every available light switched on (including the cooker hood!) it is practically like being in candlelight! I'm all for mood lighting, but it is genuinely impossible to do normal activities (reading anything, putting on makeup, even preparing food). Other reviewers have pointed this out too. This seems so silly - modern LED light bulbs are low energy AND bright. Come on Bosrijk, upgrade the light bulbs, the villas are just too dingy. In other respects, our stays have always been good - kitchen has everything you need, the beds are comfortable, Bosrijk is quiet and you get a decent night's sleep. We had delivery pizzas which were good and prompt - although beware the English menu translation - it has both 'Greek Veggie Pizza' and 'Pizza Greek Veggie' on there, we ordered one if these and it turned out to be anything but a Veggie - loaded with meat in fact.

As soon we entered our room to our horror we realised there was no air con. It was uncomfortably hot the whole visit. The front desk lent is a fan but it was still much too hot. I did not think to check if there was air con as its a modern hotel and at the price point it seemed like a given that there would be. The room was also not the cleanest, the toilet faintly smelt and they didn't clean the room for the whole of our three night stay. We had previously stayed in this property in Oct 2017 and enjoyed our time there, the autumn weather meant it was cozy and the woodland settling was pleasant. Like most things it is not as good as before covid, especially the offerings at the breakfast buffet and the offerings at the restaurant. We were told there was no availability for breakfast before 7am but when we turned up just before 7am on Monday we had to wait a while to be let in and they were still setting up. It was well after 7 and we were still waiting for the milk to be put in the coffee machines and for some things to be put out. It was still quiet when we left an we feel we could have easily been given a later time. It is nice enough but at the price point and in comparison to other similar theme park hotels it fell very short.

These houses definitely live up to the marketing images, beautifully located within woodland and very peaceful with lots of space around them. Accommodation is perfectly functional with easy to access 'e-key' and very comfy beds. If you stay here then access to the park the entire visit from day you arrive to the day you leave is a massive bonus. Popping in for a 10pm rude in Baron is an experience I won't forget. The downside is the location. To get to the accommodation you have to drive around the whole park perimeter, so no easy popping to the shops. And it is billed as a 10min walk to the park however... That's from the reception, if you were staying at the back of the lodges ~500 then there's another ~5min on top of that. This is fine if you weren't on your feet all day in the park. There is a shuttle bus but it appears to only do one stop in the lodges so pretty useless to most people.
