Love the hospitality and service. Rooms were clean and spacious, it also has a garden view. Breakfast was delicious and was included within our package. It's a good location and ***as National Park is like 500meters from here. One can also go for a walk on the lawn, which is beautiful. Overall, love the experience.

The first time I stayed in Musa was in April 2022 and the stay - room, ambience, food was so perfect that I extended by stay and any time I want to escape the hullabaloo of city, I try to go there. The adventure and animal sightings at ***as National Park has also been very good. This year in April, I felt the food taste has come down. But the service, friendliness of staff and the peace one feels in Musa with bird calls and general ambience is very much intact. Hope they go back to the taste they had served in all my earlier visits.

The best place to stay in ***as. Bang opposite to the national park. Clean rooms. Huge lawns and lots of open space. Superb service and decent food. Kind and helpful staff. We requested for a late check out and they obliged whole heartedly. They also made all the necessary arrangements for the wildlife Safari.

Excellent location near walking distance of Bansberia range gate of ***as National Park. There are 20 cottages and those are spacious and maintained. Maybe quite a bit more expensive than the resorts in the surroundings but excellent service and rooms. Animals like elephant, rhino and Gaur comes regularly opposite to the resort but due to tall grass not visible from cottages. You need to get up on first floor where the restaurant is to get a clear view. Only jarring part was food was expensive and the rates charges were not standard (charged more than printed menu cards) plus 18% GST. Food quality was ok. We tried local cuisine like bamboo shoots and Chicken onla. Safaries can be arranged by the resort with prior notice to both Bansberia (more mammals sighting) and Bhuyiapara (bird sighting including Bengal Frorican). Overall a great stay with excellent staff behaviour, both frontdesk as well as housekeeping/room service staff

Charming place, nice comfortable rooms, good staff, helpful and efficient but the food needs to be better, more balanced with local flavours, the menu is too generic and overdone, overcooked, over flavoured, the chef needs to be better trained.

This was our second stay here. We had the Bansbari Villa to ourselves. Unlike a certain high-end resort that I shall review at a later date, Musa doesn't pretend to give you a villa and then make you share it with strangers. You really do have a sitting room, a bedroom and a hallway with storage. The bathroom is large. Our room was next to a tree that was full of birds! The entire resort is frequented by beautiful birds. The restaurant serves decent food and they were very considerate and brought us breakfast and dinner, as we were on a working vacation and couldn't always go to the dining room. The other great thing about Musa was that we were able to work from there without any issues! The dongle the front desk lent us was good enough for video calls (this is something I had checked with them on before, I don't think they do this on a regular basis. But it was extremely helpful to us, as we worked in a peaceful, beautiful location until the wee hours. For safaris, their vehicle and their driver Sunil were both excellent. Sunil is a young guy. We were in awe of his calm demeanor as we were being followed by rhinos. Sunil's driving is also excellent. Sunil is very polite and was very pleasant to be around. Highly recommended. If there's one thing I'd recommend, it would be re-doing the bath tub in Bansbari villa, or taking it off altogether. It was cracked and takes away from the perfection of the amazing lodging. Everybody at the lodge is so very nice! Right from the front desk, to their General ***ager, to the guys in the restaurant, to Gopal who helped us with miscellaneous stuff, to their Sales ***ager who took us to see a rare pair of mating falconettes. We were on a hectic, stressful trip to India. We were working on US hours and had other commitments too which had us stressed physically and mentally. Musa provided us a peaceful haven in the midst of the madness. This is undoubtedly the best resort in Assam and the people there make it so.

Very nice resort. I will just suggest the authority if they can provide some sports activity for the children then the children will be able the enjoy more, otherwise ok. Quality of food is good but costly.

If you are planning a trip to ***as National Park, you must plan your stay at Musa Retreat. I had an amazing stay there and it's at a walking distance from ***as NP. Although the route to ***as is a but rough but, it's worth it when you reach Musa. Their staff is humble and provide quick service. The food is delicious and the ambience is breathtaking.

***as National Park is truly a wonderful place with dense Forrests and unlike any other region with the Bhutanese mountains and the serene ***as river. Musa Jungle Retreat is right near the National park! Beautiful property with well ***icured gardens! Quaint rooms, 24hrs Air conditioning and hot water. Clean rooms and good beds. Efficient and friendly staff especially Mr Kundan at the reception who was professional and helpful! We were disappointed with the food. Below average food, and the kitchen will get better with more training. There was no side table on one side of the bed. There should be a small table on both side of the bed.
