Stay at ramada was a 4/5 with early check in and nice and supportive staff. Location was near and walkable from downtown. Every excursion pickup point is literally 5-10min walkable from hotel.
Only reasons for not giving 5/5 are
1. Room Phone was not working
2. Temperature control of Shower if our room was not working though they did provide alternate room just for shower purpose
I would recommend this hotel for nearness to downtown and especially friendly staff

Restaurant ok - but really too expensive. Not worth the price - fresher rooms - better mattresses - generally substandard - not a good reference for Ramada

Pros: Close to everything. Clean. Good restaurant.
Cons: No elevator. Overhead noise from room above.

Didn't like cost of hotel. It was an upgraded Motel 6. We were located on the fifth floor. Only ice machine on main floor and it was broken. Had to ask the front desk if you wanted ice. Had a baloney but was told not to outside as it was unsafe and it looked it. No transportation to the airport.he only way to get air is to open the siding door, but then you heard traffic all night long. You had two big fans in the closet and if you wanted heat,there was a little electrical heater. Price was expensive for getting little in return.

This hotel is hot in the summer with limited options to cool it down as the windows only open a crack. The owner will say this is an insurance company problem, but actually it is a hotel design problem that could be fixed with a different window design or better air circulation fans. You will get an old school oscillation fan that does nothing to reduce the discomfort. Staff is nice. Restaurant is fine. But the rooms are two star not three.

The room was very spacious, comfortable bed, wonderful view of the harbor and many restaurants nearby. Our excursion picked us up at the museum behind the hotel so it was very convenient.

It's an older building, lacking A/C as many or even all buildings in Juneau however the windows in our room didn't open all the way, maybe only 4 inches. It was hot outside so the indoor temperature was unbearable day and night.
