Very beautiful view over the Sweden 2nd largest lake Vättern. 4km from the famus village Gränna with car ferry to the largest island Visingsö. The place is famus for the Swedish candy Polkagris. Other side of the hotel road it is a large Polkagris shop. The hotel main building looks like a middleage castle and hunting building. The bus to and from hotel is once per hours.

The interior decoration resembles a medieval building, and the dining area faces the island in the middle of the lake. The morning mist dissipates slowly, and it feels really fairy-like.

Very nice place. Fantastic service. Got an upgrade on the room. Fantastic view over the lake and the breakfast buffet was also fantastic and all you can think of was there.

Business trip - overnight brainstorming session. Really appreciated the environment & history of the place. Good facilities, nice view, great food, peaceful - everything was perfect for it little think tank.
