Hotels Near Masjid Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan in Johor Bahru

I will always stay in this hotel whenever travelling to Johore Bahru. The room rate is quite economical and no changes for the past few years. The room facility has improved even the room rate remain unchanged. i have discovered that the hotel room already been put a refrigerator and the bathroom also has a glass to segregate the shower area when I stay there recently. As for hotel exterior, they have installed a mini fountain to beautify the area. Overall, satisfy to stay at this hotel.

Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

For a solo traveller, this space is small but good enough. Clean. They have hair dryer, toothbrush, towel and hangers. Hot n cold water, strong fixed showerhead. Very friendly receptionist. Would be good to provide slippers. And pillow can be better! Nearby nasi lemak hantu, starter cafe, waffle delight and mamalicious kueh are good!

Dear Crystal Crown Management Team, First of all, I would like to thank you for the hospitality during this period. To begin with, I have a brother who is currently serving quarantine at Hotel Ramada, so I know exactly what are the two hotels offering and its differences. Nevertheless, my stay with Crystal Crown has been a decent one which I am grateful for. I will also be honest with you that there are quite number of areas which need to be improved, not only for the wellbeing of the next batch of guests, but also for the benefit of your staff members. Hence, I would like to provide some constructive suggestions. 1) Communications a) Clarity on the rules of food / items delivery. The RELA briefed us on the arrival day, but it was unclear as we were seated outdoor. A suggestion is to include pictures in your document. See the attached photo for illustration. Besides pasting the rules at the entrance, you could also print it out in black and white for every room, together with the welcome letter. I believe that once the rules are spelled out clearly, the guests will manage their expectations accordingly. b) Distribute the 14 days necessities (e.g. mineral waters, trash bag, toiletries) at one shot. This is also a good practice of Hotel Ramada. Not only the guests can ration the items based on their needs, it also saves your hotel staff the trouble of attending to the needs of the guests at all time. c) Discontinue the whatsapp group. I understand the intention of setting up the group is for emergency purpose. But we all clearly know that this is not the case. Unfortunately, the chat group becomes a platform of all sorts of stuff: from requesting the daily necessities, clarifying the same delivery rules, asking the staff to pick up and send food / items, to spamming the group of 198 people with complaints and feud, or even turning the group into personal chat room. I believe once point a) & b) are sorted out, there is less need to use the whatsapp group as the main channel of communication. We can always use the phone in our room to call the front desk for additional requests or attend to emergency matters. Respecting the guests’ privacy is very much appreciated. 2) Dietary Preferences a) Make the effort to collect guests’ dietary needs and be committed to attend to it. This is a basic etiquette and fundamentals of the hospitality industries. Peanut and seafood allergies can be severe and deadly. The health of people with medical conditions (e.g. diabetes) could be affected. Not to mention the vulnerable such as the elderly, young children and pregnant women. We are human after all, hence the importance of mutual respect – treat the guests the way you want to be treated. b) Look after the well-being of the vegetarians. I would like to speak up for the vegetarians, especially those who practise strict vegetarianism. They cannot to take onions, garlic, chives, green onions and leeks, as it cause anger and desi

This was a staycation and we booked an executive twin with ‘2 large single beds’ as advertised, but the room was very small, so were the beds. Although rather well-appointed in terms of furnishings, there just isn’t quite enough space for 2 adults and a pre-teen child to roam. The tv is also smaller usual. There is no breakfast provided but the street that the hotel is located at has some options, but not where I would go for breakfast. The Mount Austin theme park is nearby, but if that’s where you’re heading, I’d assume you would like more space and comfort to chill out after an entire day of play.

Quite a nice and cozy stay. Be warned that the link way bridge from CIQ to princess cove is unfinished, there’s no lift so my friend and I had to lug our luggage down and then up 3 sets of staircases at the construction area. It was very tiring. Also the room had cockroaches when we arrived but my friend was able to catch and kill them. The bathroom does feel grimy after a few days so I would have appreciated an option to pay extra for cleaning. However, the location was great. There’s a pool and gym, though the mall is unfinished it has Jaya Grocer, so my friend and I could cook in the apartment etc. though I’d recommended washing everything before use because there were some grimy stuff on the utensils. Grab rides are quite affordable to other places like cafes too, and there’s security guards. So all in all quite worth for the price.

Nothing to complaint about the location. Plenty of beauty services and food. Counter service is normal. Nothing to complaint nor praise. We bookes the premier room on level 27 in Tower 1. The lift take forever to come and due to that it is always crowded. The sink in the room is choked. Just a simple brush teeth session would cause the water level to keep rising to the brim of the sink. Wall paper is peeling on the bed head. Desk phone is covered with dust. Lots of patches on the room wall below the tv. Just wondering if it is so hard to fix all these unsightly areas to allow guest to have a very comfortable stay? We didnt bother to call the hotel to fix the sink since we are staying 1night. But cleaner would have noticed it during cleaning. There is also menses stain on the bedsheet. Is tiny spot but very noticeable on a white sheet. The table leg is spoilt. I am not sure if I would be back again. Maybe or maybe not.

Everyone in my group loved it. My kids loved it so much. Clean, spacious. We arrived late but they were very accommodating with the set up of the extra bed. My only gripe was there's no extra key card so while the kids were resting in the room, I had to ask for assistance from front desk to help me get into my room. N I ran alot of errands 😂 but the staff were very nice. Aircon wasn't very cold for a new hotel wish we could have increase the speed of the ceiling fan.

It was an excellent stay at Amari Hotel. The location was convenient with a few shopping malls within the area. The hotel room was clean and spacious for a Deluxe King room. Service staff was helpful and courteous. Overall staying at the hotel was a satisfying and happy one. Will be back for the next travelling to Johore Bahru.

What I want to say is it the ballroom is very spacious and comfort. The room ia a sound proof. The food is very good and deliciuos. It is variety and very tastefully. The High tea also very good especially a mee goreng mamak. Overal is very good.
