Its my first stay at Holiday Inn JBCC. I love the cleanliness of the hotel room the bed is so comfy! Breakfast was alright but maybe more protein based items will be great. Below is KOMTAR JBCC. Its so convenient for food and shopping. Should increase water pressure for hose bidet in toilet.

There’s 2 reception counters for check in & out. KSL City Square Mall just connects to the hotel & resort with a glass door apart. The room lightning is not very brighter as can’t see the face clearly when put on makeup. Sadly the shower head is fixed type and the water tap at basin will splash out when turn on. TV unable to watch any channel due to the aerial cable has no signal. Still can hear the water flowing from next door or peoples talking from outside because poor sound insulation inside the room. The room door need to closed harder as it won’t fully close up when letting it close ownself. There’s Avery-day drink stall which can get mystery dolls with purchased drinks.

Dear Crystal Crown Management Team, First of all, I would like to thank you for the hospitality during this period. To begin with, I have a brother who is currently serving quarantine at Hotel Ramada, so I know exactly what are the two hotels offering and its differences. Nevertheless, my stay with Crystal Crown has been a decent one which I am grateful for. I will also be honest with you that there are quite number of areas which need to be improved, not only for the wellbeing of the next batch of guests, but also for the benefit of your staff members. Hence, I would like to provide some constructive suggestions. 1) Communications a) Clarity on the rules of food / items delivery. The RELA briefed us on the arrival day, but it was unclear as we were seated outdoor. A suggestion is to include pictures in your document. See the attached photo for illustration. Besides pasting the rules at the entrance, you could also print it out in black and white for every room, together with the welcome letter. I believe that once the rules are spelled out clearly, the guests will manage their expectations accordingly. b) Distribute the 14 days necessities (e.g. mineral waters, trash bag, toiletries) at one shot. This is also a good practice of Hotel Ramada. Not only the guests can ration the items based on their needs, it also saves your hotel staff the trouble of attending to the needs of the guests at all time. c) Discontinue the whatsapp group. I understand the intention of setting up the group is for emergency purpose. But we all clearly know that this is not the case. Unfortunately, the chat group becomes a platform of all sorts of stuff: from requesting the daily necessities, clarifying the same delivery rules, asking the staff to pick up and send food / items, to spamming the group of 198 people with complaints and feud, or even turning the group into personal chat room. I believe once point a) & b) are sorted out, there is less need to use the whatsapp group as the main channel of communication. We can always use the phone in our room to call the front desk for additional requests or attend to emergency matters. Respecting the guests’ privacy is very much appreciated. 2) Dietary Preferences a) Make the effort to collect guests’ dietary needs and be committed to attend to it. This is a basic etiquette and fundamentals of the hospitality industries. Peanut and seafood allergies can be severe and deadly. The health of people with medical conditions (e.g. diabetes) could be affected. Not to mention the vulnerable such as the elderly, young children and pregnant women. We are human after all, hence the importance of mutual respect – treat the guests the way you want to be treated. b) Look after the well-being of the vegetarians. Unfortunately, we booked a themed room called kingdom, which has only a city view, unlike a pirate themed room and adventure themed room, they have a great Legoland view. Although the room rates are the same. Rooms include 2 separate sleeping areas, with a king-sized bed for adults, and a separate area for up to 3 children, complete with bunk bed, pull-out trundle bed and their very own TV. Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

Good location and 24hrs front desk reception for late night check in. Fast check out services. Room to room poor noise control. Able to hear next door baby crying.

Our always go to choice of hotel!! Brakfats is great for the price . Easy and smooth check in and check out !

This was a staycation and we booked an executive twin with ‘2 large single beds’ as advertised, but the room was very small, so were the beds. Although rather well-appointed in terms of furnishings, there just isn’t quite enough space for 2 adults and a pre-teen child to roam. The tv is also smaller usual. There is no breakfast provided but the street that the hotel is located at has some options, but not where I would go for breakfast. The Mount Austin theme park is nearby, but if that’s where you’re heading, I’d assume you would like more space and comfort to chill out after an entire day of play.

The stay was really comfortable and it is easy to get around with Grab. However, the walk to Aeon Tebrau might be a little challenging in the evening due to the high traffic flow. The staff are really friendly and they even whatsapp me to check with me constantly on my check-in time :) Overall, a great stay!

Hotel is clean and chic. Location isn’t very ideal as far from city centre. But I chose this hotel cos it’s near the airport. So that’s good. Front desk May or may not be very knowledgeable about things around the area. The swimming pool faces cemetery so if that’s a concern for you then ok lor.
