Location wise, it is near ciq but not so convenient. One of the towel was very dirty and we need to call 2 times for them to get somebody to give us new towel. Good thing is there is an oven to heat up food and sink for washing dishes

My hubby and I made a last-minute booking on December 31st for one night, checking in at 11:30 PM. The friendly and professional male receptionist briefly explained the room details to us. While the rooms are non-smoking, a designated smoking area is available on the ground floor.
We booked the Studio Deluxe King and were given a room on the 39th floor. The room was clean and spacious, featuring a kitchenette with a microwave. The king-size bed was very cozy, and the bathroom was well-equipped with a bidet, an amenity kit, shower gel, shampoo, lotion and conditioner. The TV had a wide range of local channels.
The next day, my hubby called reception twice, to inquire about late checkout rates. On both occasions, the female staff on the line confirmed a rate of RM12.50/hour. We decided to proceed with a late checkout. However, upon arriving at the reception desk to settle the bill, my hubby was surprised when the bill amounted to RM162.
Upon checkout at 4PM, we went to the reception to clarify the discrepancy. The staff who attended, Ms Zulaila Azreen, promptly investigated the matter and helped reverse the charge on our card. She explained that it's actually RM100 or more for checkout at 3 PM or 6 PM, suggesting pre-payment upon check in for better rates. Her customer service was exceptional.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider returning. While the confusion with the late checkout rate was a bit frustrating, we enjoyed the comfortable rooms and peaceful atmosphere. I hope the hotel can provide further training for its staff, especially regarding accurate communication about hotel rates and charges.

This is the 2nd time we booked. The location really superb and that’s why we came back. Private car park which very convenience. Can just park your car if do not which to drive while in jb. Can just take grab if u want to go nearby. Shuttle bus provided too and the timing of the timing as per in the pic.

Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru, exceeded my expectations with its spacious, clean, and stylish rooms. The well-equipped kitchenette and stunning city views were a bonus. The infinity pool and gym were excellent, and the breakfast buffet offered a delicious variety of local and international dishes.
The hotel’s central location made exploring Johor Bahru effortless, and the friendly staff provided exceptional service throughout my stay. Whether for business or leisure, Capri by Fraser is a top-notch choice.

Very clean and new hotel. Service was gd too. But wifi was intermittent at night and breakfast experience was quite horrible. The hotel is also not very accessible despite being near customs.

Smooth check in process.
Location is near CIQ but abit out of the way if you don't drive. However they offer complimentary shuttle to nearby location.
The staffs were friendly and helpful.
The room is big and comfy. Generally clean.
However they only offer 2 sets of fork and spoon, 2 glasses and 2 big plates. Just wondering why not W bowls as well. But no biggie.
My room has the city view and it is near a mosque so you get to hear the daily prayers.
One down side is that the hotel is abit dated. E.g. like the bathroom, the floor tiles has came off and need to be careful if you have young or elderly with you. If they slip might cut themselves. Look at the pictures.
Also for my room, the toilet has 2 blinds. Even after rolling down, there is a gap between the 2 blinds and I could see the block beside, where the bedroom window is facing the toilet. So if I can see them, they too can see whoever is in the bathroom too. I don't think the windows are tinted. So have to be careful especially ladies.
Overall it was a decent and comfy stay.
