The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the toilet was spacious with complete amenities. However, the service was very disappointing.
Room 808 had a strong smoking smell, and the floor manager just sprayed perfume to cover it but the smoking smell is still there. When I requested a room change, the customer service staff was extremely rude, telling me to call back at 9 PM because it was their break-fast time and i should respect.
They were also reluctant and made it seem troublesome to change room. Propose Hotel management to arrange non muslim staff to handle calls during break fast timing in future, as Foreigners might not comprehend the situation.
Another major issue was the parking system. It is confusing for first-time visitors, as hotel guests need to park at level B2 and validate their Touch ’n Go card for free parking. During dinner hours, the queue for validation was ridiculously long, with only one counter available. We had to wait in a line with more than 10 people ahead of us, which was frustrating,
We are rushing for dinner, hence, we paid parking cost RM27 for just 3–4 hours, which is unreasonable.
The hotel staff, especially the phone helpline team, were rude and impatient. Calls took a long time to be answered, possibly due to staff shortages during the fasting month and Hari Raya eve holiday season.
Due to the rude staff and poor service, I will not stay at this hotel again.
