The hotel sincerely apologises due to the air-conditioning issue during our stay. Staff Anna, on behalf of Trove Hotel, accommodates us with an extra bed and fan for the service recovery.
The maintenance works on the aircon check.
Last but not least, I would like to thank Trove for the complimentry fruit platter and also the staff on helping my hubby to plate the birthday cake during our stay.

Repeat stay at Trove JB - We love it for the perfect balance between location, price and safety. It's close enough the popular spots but far enough from the customs to not have dailt traffic jams. Will stay again!

We did not get an earlier check in and they had trouble finding my second booking despite me offering multiple times to show them my booking on the app and with the booking number ready. The staff at the reception, Lynda, was a bit curt and I felt like we were being lectured by a schoolteacher! 🧑🏫
When we checked in later that day, thankfully the other staff were friendly and smiley, demonstrated perfect typical Malaysian hospitality.
Despite the above, the rooms are fine. They managed to get us adjoining rooms on a high floor with a decent view eastwards. There are connecting rooms if you ask them for availability.
Shower is good pressure, cleanliness still have some dust on the floor but acceptable for the price point. Note the swimming pool is closed indefinitely until further notice.

Hotel is value for money. Very spacious for this price. Location is centralised yet not overly crowded as compared to city square side. Only down side - rooms are abit old and smell quite mouldy. The convenient shop at ground floor is a ripe off - no price tag, no cashier but calculator? Items are overpriced too

Excellent Stay at Trove Hotel. Was given a room with a nice view overlooking Singapore. Service provided by front-desk staff is excellent.
