I have lived here for how many months? honestly the management Has a wrong way of treating their guest long stay or not.. I mean I was paying 650 everyday and never once did they remember to send a cleaner..don’t pay up by 10:41am and then cleaner comes after 10days and she isn’t supposed to clean?! For a place I have stayed at the same apartments for 4months?

The hotel is so beautiful and they have friendly staff members. The hotel serve breakfast then you have option to dine and pay extra for dinner. The meals are very fresh and nice

The Mint Hotel 84 gets the basics right with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly service staff. My room was a standard double with a queen bed, it had everything I needed including a desk, coffee maker, and good water pressure in the shower. The bed was fairly comfortable and the room was cleaned promptly every day. The breakfast spread in the dining area had a variety of options including cereals, toast, fruit, pastries, and eggs. The food was of average quality and freshness, nothing exceptional but sufficient to start the day. The service staff at the front desk and concierge were pleasant, helpful, and efficient whenever I had questions. They provided recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel has an outdoor pool and fitness centre, although I did not use the fitness centre during my stay. The hallways and public areas were well maintained and clean. Overall, the Mint Hotel 84 provides good, no-frills accommodations in a convenient location for exploring Katherine. The price point is fair for the quality you get, making it a solid choice for standard business or leisure travel.

I am a fairly frequent business traveller and stay in many hotels- most I don’t review as they just don’t stand out! This one however, I had to review!! I arrived a little earlier than check in and was greeted by Itumelemg on reception who was very helpful! My room was on the 18th floor and really lovely and well appointed! I was even treated to an AMAZING biltong platter - thank you!! 😊 Room amenities were great (nespresso coffee and Charlotte Rhys products!) I then had a few meetings close to the hotel (within 5km) and was offered a complimentary transfer and pick up by their drivers. Siphwe really looked after me and was a great ambassador for the hotel. The hotel itself is very well managed but what sets them above their comp set is the team who represent the hotel! Well done to everyone for exceptional service! A fantastic visit- I’ll certainly be back!

This hotel inexplicably made a mistake on our 5 night pre-booked PRE-PAID stay. Security turns up on the door middle of the night demanding to know why we are in the room and trying to get us to leave when our checkout was the next morning. No apology, claimed a ”system glitch” changed our booking (that's actually NOT how the system works), no correction to the booking. Created a new reservation in my name without my permission to try to cover their mistake. 2 weeks later they still haven't sent a correct invoice despite multiple emails. Oh, and they keep mis-gendering me as Mr despite knowing I'm female and being reminded of this. One of the pillows was dirty and it took multiple asks before the sheets were changed and a clean pillow provided. Avoid this hotel like the plague.

I stayed there several times and definetely will stay again.Very good hotel in Sandton..Modern furnished..bed very big and confort. All staff are helpfull and happy to assist you.Breakfast has lots of international and local fresh choices.Checkin and checkout was very professionel.The Hotel is next to the Nelson Mandela square and lots of restaurants and shops inside the mall.

Very clean and pretty central to a lot of places. The location is perfect

Stayed two nights on a mother-daughter trip and had a great time. The location is excellent, in a nice gated area so felt safe walking around and there were tons of nice restaurants and shops around! The room was clean. Kinda weird with the shower outside the bathroom right next to one of our beds, only had a curtain to separate. The staff was all very helpful and friendly! The food was good- be sure to try the milkshakes!

On Saturday 16 Dec 2023 my entire family decided to go to The Marriot for breakfast and we planned on using our Prokard to qualify for their dining discount. We have been to the Marriot on numerous occasions over the last 4 years and we had no problems using our Prokard and getting the applicable dining discount. Tembi the restaurant manager stopped us all at the entrance of the restaurant and was adamant that we couldn't use our prokard ....then it was an excuse that there were no tables available when there were plenty available. Her attitude was disgusting and made excuse after excuse......another being that The Marriot is a new hotel and that they were still finding their feet which was not true. My family was so upset with the backwards and forward arguing that we did not enjoy our breakfast which was meant to be a family outing. I also overheard other guests complaining about not being able to use the Prokard ......she also told us that it cannot be used over the holidays.......she made so many contradictory excuses. I had called on the Monday before (11 Dec ) and spoke to Daniel ( the services manager ) and he confirmed that all the benefits for dining is as per all Marriot hotels and that we are welcome to come on the Saturday. I spoke to Daniel on Monday ( 18 Dec) to complain of what we experienced on Saturday and he passed it onto Razeen ( another manager) who didn't have the decency to call me with an apology and confirm what the rules are wrt Prokard benefits. My advice to Prokard members ......keep away from The Marriot as they are not so professional and sophisticated as they profess to be and rather patronize the other Protea hotels. The staff are great, very accommodating, and very engaging. They are also very concerned of my safety (they always remind me to take care when going out). Saying that, the location might be challenging for those who are mindful of their safety. I am advised not to leave after dark, even just going to KFC which is just 300 meters away (I appreciate the concern of the staff). No wifi too.
