This is a very nice hotel with a lovely pool area outside. Good sized gym with sufficient equipment available. All of the main restaurants in Melrose arch on in walking distance and the hotel bar offers a nice relaxed feel with good quality service from attentive staff.

My GOD what appalling service. And when you talk to the Manager on Duty you can see why. No one at the Restaurant, no one coming to ask for anything to drink. Looks like they are doing you a favour by being there. Approached the Manager on Duty and he is fast asleep and instead of apologizing attacks with a question like the Guest is 12 years old.

Great Joburg visit I really enjoyed the stay at Marriott Melrose Arch. Londiwe in particular was so kind and helpful. The bar and restaurant was comfortable. Great area of Joburg, very safe. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Only suggestion for improvement is that the cars arranged via the hotel were not on time.

Amazing experience, great customer service from check in to check out. Great room, very large variety for breakfast and excellent quality. The area is safe and surrounded with restaurants and shops. Overall highly recommemded.

Very nice hotel. It’s located inside a gated area and very safe. Lots of shopping and restaurants inside the compound. Great, big rooms at the hotel. Great for family, business and couples. Hotel bar and restaurant are awesome. I would highly recommend this property

Fantastic location in a very safe area! You can actually walk around outside to nearby shops and restaurants and not fear anyone. Perfect for female travellers. Beautiful hotel and rooms are furnished perfectly. The only negative comment I have is the bed is extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet is out of this world. An amazing variety. Something for everyone. Big shout out to Clement from Front Office who assisted me with transportation to the airport. Super service all the way until I got in the car 07:30am.

I recommend the Marriott Executive Apartments - well appointed with separate lounge room and full kitchen. Was great having washing and drying machines The breakfast staff were wonderful The neighbourhood is great a short stroll to many restaurants and supermarket

Hotel is lovely, in fact beautiful. Service is also truely amazing which is sad all things considered. I never place anything on my room account because I don’t want to wait when I leave a hotel. I was in a rush but being my polite self I entertained a conversation with a flustered lobby attendant. She was trying her best but you could see she had no support. What I didn’t need to know though was that her paycheck hasn’t changed since pre-pandemic. Eventually I was able to leave. I tried calling the hotel later to talk to the lobby manager, hoping to help this girl, but no one was available. I don’t usually post on these channels but this stuck with me and has ruined what was a lovely experience.

The Marriott executive apartments in Melrose Arch is a good choice. Very well located, well appointed large rooms equipped with washer, dryer dish washer and all appliances you need. Front desk employees are very polite and helpful. Buffet breakfast is reasonably priced and offers a large variety of food. My only complaint is that they don't recognize Bonvoy elite status or accept points for your stay. Highly recommend it if you visit Johannesburg
