It was a great place to stay at. Loved the clean room and the kind staff. The load shedding was a problem for me since I had to work though so I would advise they get a back up generator.

I have stayed at La Orchard Hotel multiple times, and my previous experiences have been great. However, my most recent stay was quite disappointing. The initial room I was given was not clean and did not meet my expectations. While the staff was quick to resolve the issue and moved me to another room, I was surprised and disappointed that this happened in the first place—especially as a returning guest who expected the best. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality La Orchard is known for, which is why I keep coming back. I hope this was just an isolated incident, and I look forward to seeing improvements on my next visit. A little extra effort to acknowledge and appreciate returning guests would go a long way in maintaining loyalty.

They say if you have nothing good to say, rather keep quiet. This was a nightmare stay. From being assigned a wrong room, no hot water, bedding never changed. Coffee station and bathroom supplies never refilled. Never again

I liked the place. Very quiet street. Easily accessible. Priscilla provided the best services. She would open the gate immediately after the bell rang. For others, there were delays sometimes posing a security threat to guests. Sometimes in the evening there was noise (loud music) from the neighbouring lodge. Always hot shower

The service was very very terrible terrible I was served by the two undocumented people 1 a Congolese who knew nothing about Customer care the other one was a Zimbabwean both were just busy on their Mobile phones. I booked this place on the 21st of November, 2023.I would encourage the owner to employee locals and improve the services. The service was below par

First of all the girl infront made us stand to verify whether we paid or not. She gave us a room with no towels, soap etc. I went back to tell her about this, she was not bothered and told us to wait until the towels dry up. I went back to check the towels again and she further told me to wait while shes playing on the PC and not bothered that im tired i needed a bath as soon as possible and I really waited and the soap and other things were not there. The noise in the passage 🙆🏾♂️. Some other guests were playing in the passage, making a loud noise and singing while we trying to sleep and had to wait for them. The TV channels were terible, couldnt watch a thing as the tv was not clear and looked rainy. The kettle has old water inside, leaves and other things and we were basically given their left overs, we could not use it at all. The shower had very cold or very warm slow dripping water. No phones to call and ask for help from the reception. Your service was extremely poor.

Clean and comfortable stay. The fact that there was no breakfast served or kitchen was a let down, and I suppose I had to ask before booking. Bed lamps not working and a fire hazard.
