Friendly and personal welcome by Mr Jaggi - owner of this small family run and well ***aged hotel. Safe and secure accommodation and excellent location just 6 min walk from Jodhpur Railway Station. AC and fairly large size clean room with private bathroom with a comfortable King size double bed and a settee. Good delicious freshly cooked vegetarian breakfast available at its rooftop restaurant. Good value accommodation in Jodhpur. Will stay here if we visit again in near future. Will recommend this accommodation without hesitation to other visitors.

This is a unique place right in the old town of jodhpur. Located in the midst of small roads, the moment you enter it gives you a feel of small haveli. Our room was located on level 2 and path towards there gives you small glimpses interiors gives you a marward feel. Room was small and cozy but was clean and bathroom was clean and big. The view from terrance just outside room is really nice for early mornings and late evening to night. The staff was friendly and took care of whatever we needed.

Take the rooms on FIRST Floor! Its old city jodhpur, so expect noises at night, from barking dogs to qawwali nights at midnight, but the rooms are really spacious. The roof top view is mind blowing. Food is really good. They have youngsters coming for hookah and all, so don't get triggered, its okay! The only down point is there is no intercom, so get the number of the person who takes care of the property, he will help you in everything, by the name of DEV. Danish is also very helpful, but you might not find him at the reception the whole day, which is okay with me! All in all, great rooms, great food, great service and absolutely great location for old city!! Fits in the budget as well!

Booked 6 rooms at this place for a group of 15 for 2 nights after talking to owner and Reached on first night around midnight and as soon we entered this dump everyone wanted to run away due to crampy and dirty so called entrance lobby but after 17 hours of journey and no local experience we decided to stay. Went to see rooms Bedsheets under the blanket were torn which were changed on request,beds not comfortable at all, leaking or broken taps in almost all bathrooms,no toiletries/towels provided, host was useless….We decided to move to a nearby hotel first thing in the morning. Moral of the story is don’t fall for online photos provided for this place and fake reviews. This place is not liveable and even worth If offered for free.

Hotel staff are very kind. We had trouble with our tour reservation, and they called the office for us to fix the situation. They also recommended us nearby restaurant. The food was fantastic and fitting for end of the year celebration. Their rooftop has chairs and tables where you can enjoy the view and relax. The room did not have hair dryer or shampoo, which I believe is normal for India so be prepared.

The hosts are a very warm and hospitable couple who try to cater to every request and ensure you have a great overall experience. The simplicity and no frivolity nature of Shivam only further adds to the appeal. Good food, great service.
