Lakeside Inn Ratanada

Decent location with good service and good quality meals.

Lakeside Inn Ratanada is a very good budget hotel centrally located in Jodhpur. We had booked one Deluxe room for my family of three after talking to the owner directly a few days before our arrival in the city. I would say that everything (the furnishings and the décor) in the hotel turned out to be pretty much the way it looked in pictures that were shared beforehand. The entrance to the hotel is right on the main road close to a roundabout and next to ***y stores. It is unlike we had been to before and were a bit surprised at first. As soon as we entered the main door, our thoughts started turning positive quickly and the kind gentle*** at the reception started with the check-in process. A staff member helped us with unloading the luggage and taking it up to our room by the elevator. Our room on the 2nd floor was spacious enough and as per the discussions with the owner, it had a Ratanada lake facing view which was unexpectedly enchanting. The furniture in the room included chairs with a center table, cupboard, side tables with the bed, a LCD TV with plenty of channels, a desk and storage for luggage, air conditioner, a mini fridge, and a kettle for tea. We were traveling with good amount of luggage but were able to fit it all in the room without much inconvenience. We had a comfortable king size bed and an extra mattress provided in the night for the third person, which also afforded a good sleep. A couple of drinking water bottles and a plate of cookies was also provided, which is a small thing but makes the hospitality standout for a hotel of this category. Even the towels in the room were arranged in the form of two swans facing each other giving a ro***tic feel to the whole welcome. Our hearts were filled with joy at these beautiful and thoughtful extras. The lake and its surroundings are well maintained and there is a water jet in the center of the lake that was operational from the time we reached in the evening until late at night. In the night, we were pleasantly surprised to see the musical fountain also working and we could enjoy it all from the comfort of our bed. The view from the room definitely made this room and the hotel a very good choice. The hotel doesn’t have a car parking and the vehicle needs to be parked in front of the hotel entrance on the side of the main road. Not a big concern as the neighborhood seemed relatively less crowded and the roads are very wide at this location. Breakfast was included in the room price we paid. Breakfast variety is good and delicious. There’s the regular white bread with jam and butter, juice, tea, some fruit, and some Indian dishes, such as poori bhaaji, parathas, etc. The breakfast is served on the first floor in a large setting with comfortable chairs and tables. The bathroom is modern and of good size. The hotel provides some toiletries like tooth brushes, comb, soaps and shampoos. Very clean and comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. 24 hour hot water, powerful shower, nice buffet breakfast and lake views from roof. Good location. It also has a lift which is invaluable for people who have mobility issues that make stairs challenging. Couldn’t fault it for the price and would definitely stay there again when in Jodhpur.

The rooms were very good...and food was delicious.. there was renovation work going on and so couldn't make use of their terrace seating..but the view from the terrace is beautiful... Their service is also really good.. but one thing I wish they could do to improve is to hire one or more servicemen...as one person was running around the entire time from kitchen to the restaurant and to the rooms to serve food and other essentials..he was a very sweet and calm person..and helped us out a lot!! We took the no view rooms and hence didn't have a view of the lake behind the hotel..but one can get the view from the open terrace anyway..this hotel is located close to shops and restaurants..next to it is the famous bakery 15 A.D. and opposite they have Baskin Robbins.. overall worth the money and a comfy stay...highly recommend..

This is the best stay in Jodhpur at an affordable price and prime location, very near to ghanta ghar(clock tower)! It has brilliant vibe, super clean, and amazing food too. Must must recommend to stay if you’re in Jodhpur😁

Very reasonable price, given the excellent lake view and extremely hospitable staff. Very good facilities, and well maintained. The hotel is very close to the airport and to the major attractions in the city.

Guess, you always remember a hotel by how you were treated. This is one such where Mr.Rituraj Singh Rathore, ***aging the property does! He checks in on your arrival and makes the process hassle free, moreover, tends to your requirements to make your stay a memorable one! Please go ahead and do your booking, you won’t be disappointed. Plus, love the breakfast spread, food served is absolutely delicious!

It's a hidden gem within the city. Located at a well known spot (Bhati Circle),it's serves as a central location to travel to any part of the city. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff is really fantastic, well spoken that too in English, they are courteous and respect guests too well. The view from the super deluxe room is awesome. So always book this room even if it requires to pay little extra. Rooms are reasonably priced. Breakfast and dining also is really good. Food is really tasty.

We had a comfortable stay at lakeside inn. The staff and ***ager were helpful. The dinner was yummy. Breakfast had a decent spread we had a beautiful view of the lake from our room. Overall pleasant stay
