Banyan Tree Jiuzhaigou

Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of visiting Jiuzhaigou was staying at the Banyan Tree Hotel. It's perched high atop a mountain. We rented a car and drove through the county town to the foot of the mountain. As we ascended, I had a feeling this would be a rare and secluded escape. The winding mountain road was dotted with wildflowers, ponies grazed peacefully, eagles soared, and the distant mountains shrouded in mist. With the car windows open, the mountain breeze blew, finally putting an end to the relentless rush of driving down the mountain and allowing me to truly savor the joys of a road trip. Arriving at the hotel's entrance, it felt like stepping into a European-style castle. The receptionist, dressed in ******* attire, warmly welcomed us. She also thoughtfully provided children with gifts, breakfast, and a room upgrade. From the balcony, the view was breathtaking: the mountains and rivers towered overhead, and nearby paths were dotted with wildflowers, a welcome respite from the daily grind. While it was still light, we took a walk around the back of the hotel, through the nearly deserted alpine meadows surrounding the lake and through the unique, pristine black pine forest. We picked a few pine mushrooms, the children cheered with delight, and the adults were delighted. It felt like the entire mountain was our own private garden. Compared to the busy, routine, and boring Jiuzhaigou we visited today, we enjoyed the free and unrestrained nature of the mountain walks here. Dinner was exquisite and delicious, and at 8:30, there was a bonfire dance led by a ******* lady from the hotel. On this beautiful evening, family and friends chatted and enjoyed the music. After lights out, we stumbled onto the balcony. The dimly lit lights cast a shadow, and misty clouds rose upwards, making us feel like we had stumbled into the Cold Moon Palace, the former residence of Chang'e. The next day, we strolled through the hotel's back garden. Afterward, we had a rich and delicious breakfast. Finally, we reluctantly left Banyan Tree, having experienced this satisfying experience, and we thank the hotel staff for their professional, high-quality, and satisfying service! Highly recommended!

My wife visited before the pandemic and had a very good impression, so she returned this year. While the facilities are a bit dated, and the golf course is closed, the rooms have been upgraded, and the ambiance and scenery are still fantastic. We were lucky enough to have the weather turn sunny after a rainy day, which was fantastic. Be sure to take photos by the lake; it's beautiful.

We originally planned to go to western Sichuan and Gannan, but due to altitude sickness, we returned to Jiuzhaigou and chose the Banyan Tree Jiuzhaigou. My friend and I arrived at the hotel at 10 pm. The front desk service immediately provided towels and hot tea, and upgraded the sunrise room for us. The waiter delivered more than ten pieces of our luggage to the room. It felt very friendly. When we opened the curtains at around 6 o'clock in the morning, we saw a sea of ​​clouds, which was very spectacular. It felt worth choosing this hotel. We booked a four-day and three-night package and didn't want to go down the mountain at all. After breakfast in the morning, the hotel arranged a young man, but we went hiking in the forest. The natural scenery of the forest was refreshing. I would like to especially praise the hotel chef. Cantonese people can't eat spicy food. The chef made a clear water fish fillet for you. The knife skills are great. A special thumbs up to the chef👍
