Excellent little hotel. Owners were very helpful and found us a local driver to take us on day trips. Pool was also great to use after a long day touring. Superb location, steps down directly to bridge for access to the floating market or just walk right for 2 mins to reach the temple and night market. The village area its set in is amazing. Very cute roads all around filled with lots of amazing restaurants and coffee shops. Room was spotlessly clean, 2 big balconies overlooking the pool. Stayed with my family of 5 and we all loved this place. Oh, huge beds and really comfortable too- can sleep 3 kids to a bed easily. The location is pretty close to the railway station, 20minutes away from it. The hotel staff were very helpful. Room was clean and amenities were good. The pool was great. The view is amazing, very beautiful. The problem was that whole resort has a huge pool but it was under maintenance and I couldn’t enjoy it unfortunately. But beside that all was outstanding. Highly recommending.

Open a suite directly for us, it's too cost-effective, and the renewal fee is still the original price! Surprise, all day air conditioning, unplug the card is still air conditioning

This hotel stay was pleasant. The room had a great view of the river and bridge. The location was easy to access activities and on the river side was quiet except for the cruise boat horn. We were content with the breakfast variety - mostly vegetable dishes, eggs, and rice noodles. This hotel has been a grand venue in the past, which is obvious by the architecture but is getting a little worn looking in some places - in the room carpet, hallways, and breakfast nook. The biggest disappointment was that the pool that was advertised online and also on the elevator poster but was not accessible. At first, we were told that this hotel does not have a pool but upon questioning we were told that the pool was not working. We could see the pool and it does look very nice and clean, it would have been a welcomed addition to this stay.

Interesting Resort about 20 Minutes outside of the City. The place is a huge resort with small houses. Nobody in the entire area speaks english and their is no real Reception or hotel. So if you don’t speak Chinese maybe try to get the We-chat number from the guy who is offering the apartments. (He helps with everything, it‘s very needed) Thanks again for beeing available all the time. The apartment is nice and quite new. It’s not a hotel, so there is no real breakfast available. To get a fresh brewed coffee in the morning the electric-carts with driver drove 3 minutes outside where we could get a coffee. The Pool is nice but just open from 1pm to 7pm. In the area is also a store where we could by stuff and restaurants where you can get food. Overall everybody again was very friendly and helpful.

I didn't have the habit of writing reviews before. This is the first time I want to make a comprehensive evaluation of hotel accommodation, with 5 points out of 5 points, 4 points for the environment, and 2.5 points for the service. The overall environment is really good, backed by Manting Park, and the courtyard is exquisitely constructed. You can enjoy the lake and the scenery, and you can see that the boss has put a lot of thought into it. The sister at the front desk was very enthusiastic and helped us upgrade the room type for free. But other experiences can only be said to be average, and the reasons are as follows: 1. Objective factors interfere with rest. There is a building under construction at the gate, and it will start on time at 8:00 in the morning. Don't even think about sleeping late or sitting in the courtyard during the day. Of course, this belongs to the external environment, and it is not transferred by the will of the store. There is really no way, so it is not a big problem for me to go out early to visit the scenic spots. 2. The service cannot keep up, including two issues of hygiene and service awareness. We booked two rooms for three nights. On the first day, there was a mistake of not closing the door of the guest's room after cleaning. Since we didn't have anything missing, we didn't report it to the boss. And the garbage that fell next to the trash can can still be seen the next day, and it seems that it has not been cleaned after cleaning. On the third day, no one tidied up the room. Not to mention changing the bedding, at least the garbage must be thrown away. The staff told the auntie that she didn't come to work, and asked us to collect the garbage by ourselves and put it at the door. If my aunt doesn't come to work tomorrow, do I need to mop the floor by myself? These things, big or small, discouraged us from renewing the lease. The service industry regards service as the product, and the successful operation depends on the individual efforts of the boss alone, but also requires the joint efforts of the team. It is recommended that the boss improve the service awareness of the staff. Don't really have a guest lose something. When the praise of careful marketing collapses, it's too late to try to remedy it.

The room is very unique, the breakfast is also rich and delicious. It is very close to the inn to eat, shop and visit the Xingguang Night Market. The transportation is very convenient. The boss and the front desk lady are very warm and friendly. It happened to be the Water Splashing Festival, and the boss specially prepared a lot of tools for water fights. It was so thoughtful! I would like to stay here next time I go to play!

🚗 Transportation: Convenient transportation, in the center of Gaozhuang, very close to Xingguang Night Market, you can call a car when you go out. 🧹Hygiene: The room is clean and wide and beautiful. 🍃Environment: The environment is also very good, with an independent swimming pool and a large lobby. 🔔Service: The service is also very considerate. The little girl at the front desk introduced us to the local attractions and delicacies, which saved us a lot of worry. It was a very satisfying trip, and I will come again next time.

The BaiMa (White Horse) Hotel is on the 9th floor of a beautifully designed building. It has a tea drinking area at the elevators. The whole hotel, including in the rooms, has pictures of what I think is an expedition race the owner took part in -- but it's not overdone. The location is perfect, right on the center west of the new north-side of downtown JingHong (main tourist area). Right beside the night market. Delicious food found at the restaurants nearby. Corner store (with decent wine) downstairs. Motorcycle and scooter rental down the street in front of the hotel. The best views of the Mekong! The room was big, spacious, and postmodern (contemporary) in decor -- very comfortable and still having personality, not just a ”white room” as so many hotels are styling themselves as, these days. There is even a small fridge and a full-sized washing machine! The bathtub on the balcony was very romantic. The cost was worth it, compared to more expensive rooms in other hotels. The staff was beyond helpful, first by allowing me to choose which room I would have, and second, by helping me order flowers and food to my room. They even brought us free chopped fruit. They had cleaned my room during the day when I went out, even changing the bedsheets when they noticed the sheets were dirty.... +++ The only negatives I can think of is that the AC does not make the room cold enough for a spoiled Westerner like me (but most people won't have a problem with that), and the tub on the balcony is still missing it's fixtures. Oh, and the pictures of the racers above the bed was a bit strange. Of course, I wish it was cheaper, but actually the price is probably fair considering the cost of other hotels and how well done this hotel is. Overall, a beautiful and excellent hotel, and I highly recommend it.

The most comfortable hotel I stayed in during my visit to Yunnan. It is very close to the Xingguang Night Market and can be reached by foot. It is also very convenient to take a taxi to other scenic spots. The hotel lobby is decorated with a tropical rainforest feeling. The Thai hammock in the lobby is very photogenic. The room is very clean and the decoration of Dai paper is also very atmospheric. I didn't see that there was a large bathtub when I booked the room. It was really a surprise. The store manager and the front desk were very enthusiastic. It felt like I was home. Overall, it was very good! Recommended!
