I stayed in the basic double room. It was just perfect. honestly, it feels more like a hotel than a hostel, with affordable prices and dorms too. very clean, elegant environment and friendly atmosphere, where it is very easy to meet new people. ideal location, next to manting park and buddhist temple. highly recommended.

I have mixed reviews on this hotel. I booked a shared room since I’m solo travelling and I would like to meet people and keep it cheap. However, on arrival they told me the room does not exist anymore and I need to pay extra for a single room. Which was almost double the price and I booked for 5 days, so this was a considerable amount. Since I didn’t think this was my mistake, I refused to pay more which resulted in a very lengthy debate. In the end, I got the room upgrade for free but the experience was so awkward that I didn’t really feel welcome the rest of my stay. Nonetheless, everytime I asked the receptionist for help she would very happily help me so the feeling was not very logical, but still there. So not entirely sure what my opinion is of my stay here. The rooms are quite nice and the airco works so that’s a plus. But on the other hand the cleaning lady never visited in my 5 days of staying there and the shower only had cold water…

A very good youth hostel, with a first-class accommodation experience and a beautiful environment, filled with green trees and plants. The staff in the store were very enthusiastic and even treated me to a drink. It was a great travel experience

Pros: Great for socializing with other guests. Lot's of people to talk to, and everyone was very friendly. Water pressure in the shower was strong and water was hot.
Cons: Guests tend to go to sleep well after midnight, so I was woken up several times during the night. I stayed in a 3 person dorm, which was usually a bit dirty. But the cost was really low, so I can't complain.

Advantages: 1. It is right next to the Zongfo Temple and Manting Park, not far from the airport, train station and scenic spots.
2. The youth hostel has a yard with plenty of space for activities.
3. It is the off-season now, and there are not many people in the entire youth hostel and even the scenic area, and the prices are very cheap. The prices will go up during the Water Splashing Festival.
4. The service provided by the young lady and brother at the front desk of the youth hostel is very good. I wish the handsome receptionist Mr. Li’s dream can come true, he can become a boss and buy a Xiaomi car.
Disadvantages: I didn’t find any store nearby that rents electric bikes, maybe I just didn’t notice it.

It was my first time staying in a youth hostel. I felt great. It was clean and hygienic. The boss was definitely the most handsome man in Banna. The atmosphere was great. There were activities every day, music to listen to, and delicious food. I met a group of friends from all over the world. I was very happy. Next time I go to Banna, I will stay in this warm hotel again. Recommended!
