I've stayed at some dumps over the years, but wow, this place is just awful. Should be renamed dystopia.
While the owner of the hostel is very friendly, this place is not much better than sleeping on the street. There's no noise isolation at all, the bed is literally just a board and is just as comfortable as sleeping on the ground. There is no shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, air conditioning, wifi, or towels. Even though this place is listed as smoke free, smoking is allowed in the hallway and in the reception. The room is also filthy and doesn't look like anything in it has been replaced or renovated in the past 200 years.
If you're coming to Jinghong, stay slightly outside of the city. You can get a very reasonably priced, comfortable hotel with the only con being it'll take you an extra 10 minutes to get to places. Unless you don't care at all about your environment, avoid.

旅店位置太好了，離車站不遠，離農貿市場不遠，離瀾滄江不遠，離江邊夜市不遠，離星光夜市不遠，我都是步行就到，太適合我這個獨自旅行的人了。老闆超級熱心，親和力非常好，解答我的問題非常仔細，還給我提出旅行建議，免得我走彎路，太貼心了。打算明年過來還住她家。

超級超級差啊，屋裡啥都沒有，沒有熱水，沒有網，沒有床單被罩，拿來床單被罩讓我自己鋪，滿屋蚊子，剛進屋就咬一身包，要盤蚊香給送來就摔碎了也不管，總之，從沒住過這麼差的店啊，不能開就別開，真的差到極致啊！
