I rarely write reviews, but I really want to write one this time. I want to escape the city on weekends. I saw this hotel on Friday night. It is a so-called hidden hotel that has won the designer award. I was impressed and booked it immediately. I was looking forward to it. The result is not disappointing, but it is far from my expectations. Let me talk about the following complaints and suggestions.
1. The three-story hotel has no elevator and the stairs are not beautiful at all. It makes me dream of returning to the hotel in Egypt. The outside is gorgeous, but the details cannot stand scrutiny. It looks like a self-built house in the countryside.
2. Room. After one year of operation, the room still has the smell of decoration (I feel that most environmental impact assessments in China should be very watery)
3. Restaurant. 1) The dishes need to be ordered in advance, but there is no advance reminder in the early stage, such as which dishes need to be booked one day in advance. I wanted to order river mandarin fish on the day, but they said that it was out of stock and needed to be booked in advance. I was a little speechless, but the hotel management team quickly solved it, which is a plus. The steamed river mandarin fish is also very fresh. 2) The dishes are overall good and the price is high. In fact, many ingredients in the restaurant are grown by the hotel itself, which is very fresh. I personally think this concept is very good, and I don’t mind higher prices when I go out to play, but I suggest that some local characteristics can be made. In addition to some local dishes, most of the menu is Cantonese cuisine, which feels out of place and I don’t know where to start. 3) There are very few categories on the wine list, and the prices are too high. The popular sake such as Dassai costs more than 1k, and there are no cups for sale, so you have to order a bottle. I came out for vacation and wanted to have a drink, but I had no interest in the wine list.
4. Hotel activities. The hotel has prepared some activities, such as ordering tea, making sachets, and Zen meditation. This is also a point that attracts me. Now young people go out for vacation, and many of them are mainly for experiencing hotels, especially this kind of boutique hotel, which is priced higher. I don’t want to be a special forces soldier when I go out for vacation on weekends. It’s also good to lie in the hotel and experience the hotel’s activities. I signed up for Zen meditation, and there was a singing bowl on the promotion. As a result, on the day of the experience, a group of people gathered in a circle and played a course downloaded from the Internet. I don’t know where it was downloaded. It feels a little watery.
5. Breakfast. When I booked the hotel, I read the reviews saying that the hotel had few breakfast options, but I didn't expect it to be so few. I think this is a problem for many boutique hotels in China. There are few Western dishes, but it is understandable. After all, we are in China, and it is OK if the Chinese breakfast has a rich variety. I think Chinese breakfast should at least cover all kinds of porridge, wontons, rice noodles, noodles, vegetable buns, meat buns, tofu brain and other classic breakfasts, which are available in mid-range fast hotels such as Atour. But the hotel only has white porridge, noodles, fried dough sticks, meat buns, and even vegetable buns. There is basically no meat in the pickled mustard greens and shredded pork noodles. There are only oranges and watermelons for fruits, and there are only a few lychees. I was embarrassed to take them. I was shocked and disappointed.
6. Public environment. It can be seen that the hotel wants to create a Japanese atmosphere, but the most basic Japanese style is exquisiteness and cleanliness. The hotel looks good at first glance, but the details are not good. The lawn bonsai was not trimmed in time, there were spider webs in the accommodation building, and there was mud on the glass. The hotel has a good ecological environment around the scenic area, but the hotel has not done a good job of mosquito and insect prevention, and has not been properly sprayed. I swam in the pool at night, and when I got ashore, a bug was scratching my toes, which really scared me.
7. Service staff. The service of the service staff is good, but there are too few people. As a working cow, I feel a little distressed when I see them working as cows. The front desk is these people, why are there still these people in the restaurant? What's more outrageous is that I went to the opposite market to eat a sweet soup, and my goodness, why are they still hotel staff? This person has to have several positions? Besides, this is still the off-season. If it is the peak season, the service experience can be imagined to be worse.
8. Scenic area. I read the comments in the early stage that the scenic area is all hotel, and I confirmed it on the spot, but it is not. Tourists can also go to the scenic area, but the scenic area and the hotel are developed by the same owner. You can hike or take a boat in the scenic area. I chose a boat on a hot day of 40 degrees. The boat is very good, with a sofa and a sunscreen on the roof. There is a little breeze when the boat is driving, and it is not hot at all. But the scenic area is still under development, there is nothing. The scenery itself is OK, but those half-built farms, water clubs, and teahouses are like abandoned and have no management.
Finally, a good comment. When I checked out, the hotel brought me watermelons and peaches, which were all grown by myself and tasted very good. In general, I want to say that it is understandable that the initial investment of hotels in such scenic areas is huge, and cost control is also understandable. There are 19 rooms in total, 2k per night. Roughly calculated, under the premise of full room for one night, the revenue is only 4w, including manual water and electricity maintenance, which is really difficult. But I personally feel that if you want to be a boutique hotel, you still have to control the details, otherwise it will really be unworthy of the price. I have also stayed in many good hotels at home and abroad, including Aman, Hoshino, and some boutique hotels in Europe. The price of 2k should not be this experience. (I just went to Iceland during the May Day holiday. There was a hot spring hotel opposite the snow-capped mountains for less than 2k. The service, rooms and dishes were all very good. The labor cost in Europe is not lower than that in China, but it still exceeded people's expectations.) I hope the hotel management team can see the comments. I also hope that the domestic hotel industry will do better and better, create wild luxury with Chinese characteristics, and also create some regional IPs.

I randomly selected a hotel blindly the night before departure, and unexpectedly opened a surprise blind box. The hotel is located in the Pingyuan Secret Scenic Area in Jing County, Anhui Province. When I first entered through the gate, I couldn't help but wow, it felt like a paradise. Because it is newly opened, the facilities are slightly imperfect, but every service staff is warm and sincere. I made a reservation for dinner in advance🥣, and the hotel also has some entertainment projects, especially the cruise, which is quite a good experience. Thanks to the unique geographical environment, it is surrounded by mountains and rivers. Removes the smell very well. Suitable for relaxing and relaxing. Will go again if I have the chance

🏡The room is clean and tidy, and the bedding and small appliances are also top-notch in a B&B. It is in a pine forest, with large panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. When you open the curtains, you can see the mountains and lakes. It is very quiet and comfortable.
🏕️The entire scenic spot is equipped with restaurants (the taste is very good) and play areas. The room we booked also comes with a boat. A boatman rowed a bamboo raft to take us to the river tracing and forest paradise on the other side. We saw many small animals because The weather was relatively hot, so we didn’t go to the campground or many other places. We can imagine that it will definitely be beautiful here in spring, autumn and winter.
👧🏻The housekeeper service is very good, arranging check-in, dinner and breakfast, cruise, room cleaning, etc. are all timely and thoughtful
🧡Very suitable for couples or parent-child travel

平垣祕境一票通:酒店遊船服務好,大叔熱情好客,景區暢遊;
環境:日系酒店風格,幽靜雅緻
服務:管家式服務,總體不錯,餐廳的菜健康綠色好吃;水果蔬菜都是來自農場;
衞生:生態環境保護好,蚊蟲也相應多一些,客房衞生部分細節可以再提升
