The motel is 1.5 km from the town centre but an easy walk. The on site Pizza and noodle restaurant is only open till 8pm but the food smelled great. We chose to eat in town.
One issue is that the motel uses contactless check in and sends a pin code for you to access your room key on arrival. Unfortunately Trip.com and other third party sellers provide a generic email and phone number so you don't get the text. I contacted the help number on arrival and it was sorted, but in this area Trip needs to do better. I have had the same issue in Hawaii.

Property is really old and you will end up seeing spots on bedsheet too. No idea why the hotel is not changing furniture or spending on bedding.

Rarely write reviews, but Customer service is -10. I travel a lot, but so far that's the worst experience I had. Extremely rude.
I will never stay here again and 3.8 is fake star rating. It should be below 1.
Don't stay with family or alone. Just not worth it.

Never anyone at reception to get assistance, you have to call and the lady is always cranky. She then sends someone with only half the story! They don’t service rooms at all during your stay, no emptying of the bins in your room. We stayed 5 nights and paid a high rate for the low quality. Obviously knew none of this until after we’d arrived and paid!

NEVER AGAIN. Fell sick a week before my scheduled stay. Hotel management refused all attempts to negotiate a change of date. They basically pocketed my $760 that I paid for the two nights. Disgusting thieves should be reported to consumer watchdog.
