Yuquan Simpson Hotel

Our traveling party of 5 booked 2 rooms. Although our daughters are now grown-up, they enjoyed the family theme, with toys, a small rocking horse (and foam carpet to protect young kids in case of a fall) and cute pillow case and blanket cover - perfect for families with young kids too (the bed is normal size, so teenagers can use it too, without a problem). Rooms were spacious and clean, staff was welcoming and helpful. This is "the only table tennis themed hotel in China", so if you want to practice, you can bring your equipment, tables are there, waiting for you (in fact, the National team came to train here). The buffet breakfast was huge, and with multiple food options to satisfy both Western and Chinese tastes. Access from the airport was convenient, a 1-hr bus ride to across the road, and right next to the hotel to go back to Jinan airport, but do check the timing because it seems like every hour or so only. Baotu spring is a 10-15min walk away, so it's a decent location to explore the city too. We will certainly book this hotel for a future Jinan holiday !

Excellent overall experience, including service, food, and facilities.

Good for the price, typical 4 star with faded glamour , good central location, can walk to spring complex and old town food street

The location of the hotel is great as it is close to Da Ming Hu and Qian Fo Shan etc, which are all within walking distance of 20-30mins. Taking Didi/taxi from the hotel lobby is swift too. The buffet breakfast was good too and there all a lot of other options near the hotel though. The reception area is ok and the whole lobby seemed shared by a lot of other shops. Recommend for the next stay.

Easy to get to from airport as express bus stops there and costs only 20 Yuan. Short walk from a number of sites and food areas. I didn't take photos of the room, so here are some sites you should definitely visit when in jinan.
