Shangri-La, Hotel Jinan

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The rooms are incredibly spacious and bright, with all the amenities you could ask for. The staff provided warm and exceptionally attentive service, making our entire stay truly superb. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Cleanliness: The elevators were full of trash. Facilities: The facilities felt old and dated, not at all what you'd expect from a hotel that supposedly opened in 2017, especially given that their listing mentioned a 2017 renovation. Environment: There was a strange, unpleasant odor throughout the entire hallway. Service: The front desk staff during check-in didn't know how to process payments using Cloud QuickPass. Will not return.

The hotel boasts a convenient location, making it easy to get around. Gavin from the staff deserves a special mention; he was incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to answer questions and truly considerate of guest needs, ensuring a swift check-in. Our room was spacious and comfortable, featuring clean, fresh bedding. The hotel's buffet restaurant provided an extensive selection of dishes, catering well to various dietary requirements.

A big thank you to Elsa for her arrangements, which made our entire stay incredibly smooth and comfortable. They even prepared a special surprise for our child's birthday. The hotel boasts an excellent location, right outside Quancheng Square. Major attractions like Baotu Spring and Black Tiger Spring are all within easy walking distance, and public transportation and taxis are readily available and convenient. While the room amenities were a bit dated, they were impeccably clean, the soundproofing was excellent, and the soft bedding ensured a restful night's sleep until morning. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring a wide array of Jinan's local specialties such as Bazirou, Tianmo, and Chatang. The lounge was very quiet and relaxing. It was incredibly comfortable to return to the hotel and unwind after a day of exploring. We absolutely loved Jinan, and the 'City of Springs' truly deserves another visit. Next time we visit, Shangri-La will definitely be our top choice again!

The hotel is conveniently located very close to Baotu Spring. Our room was well-maintained and clean, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. However, there were no complimentary welcome drinks in the mini-bar. After checking out from our two-night stay, a hotel staff member called, asking me to add them on WeChat so they could help with arrangements for my next visit. I found this post-checkout request unnecessary; service should ideally be more proactive.

My stay at Shangri-La Jinan this time was exceptionally pleasant, all thanks to Grace's excellent service. During check-in, she was efficient and swiftly provided information about the hotel's facilities and activities. Later, when I inquired about meeting room details, she not only responded quickly but also proactively helped confirm everything. Throughout my stay, she maintained a warm smile, responded promptly to every request, and demonstrated professionalism and genuine attentiveness in every interaction. It was her dedication and care that truly made me feel at home. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Jinan.
