Came to Jinan for the Shenhua match. To catch an early flight tomorrow, I booked the Shell Hotel after a long search. The hotel service was superb, they even have airport shuttle service, and the facilities are excellent!

location was near airport with free pickup and drop off from hotel. hotel was helpful. only thing was that the floors were a little dirty, which i took to wearing the slippers provided. other than that, the hotel is fine for those who need a stay near the airport at an affordable price.
fyi. its a 45 - 60min didi to city centre (baotu spring, etc.)

Very convenient for transit passengers, as it is located very close to the airport and offers a free airport shuttle service. If you would like to visit the city center, you can simply book a DiDi and reach downtown in about one hour. 真棒！

We booked the hotel because we had 640am flight .
Initially was a concern as first shuttle was at 5am but staff was reassuring said it was plenty of time and of the were correct .
The hotel was very clean comfortable beds and great showers plus only 10mins away from airport with the free shuttle- thanks for good stay

The hygiene was absolutely terrible. Yesterday, I noticed the chair was very dirty, so I thought I'd use a bath towel to sit on while eating. When I unfolded a neatly stacked bath towel, I found some sticky, unknown yellow stuff inside. The cleanliness is really bad.
Being in the corner room on the first floor, I could clearly hear the front desk staff talking on the phone. The soundproofing is extremely poor.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Even though I landed late at Jinan International Airport, the host still picked me up from the airport. Due to my dietary restrictions, I requested a vegetarian breakfast, and most of the breakfast prepared was suitable for me.
The host also sent me back to the airport. It was just a short stay for my layover, but I really loved it. Highly recommended! You may want to download a translation app, as it will make communication much easier.
