This was a stopover between the Pacific and Caribbean for one night and definitely deserves much longer. The area by a river is gorgeous and the cabin beautiful. There is a communal kitchen with fridge, sink and kettle. Our breakfast was great and our host very hospitable. Lovely.

This is a hidden gem. Sparkling clean and comfortable rooms, each a little cabin to itself. Bathrooms have modern fixtures, some toiletries, thick towels, and plenty of hot water in the shower, although the sink has only cold water, as is common in many of the places we stayed in Costa Rica. The owners were able to easily accommodate my husband's strictly gluten-free diet requirements at breakfast, although they have only a pasta offering for dinner. There are restaurants a short drive away. Our GPS got us close, but the neighbor was able to direct us to the right place.

Ha sido como estar en casa. Muy buen rollo con los anfitriones, además nos dieron sugerencias y recomendaciones que nos ayudaron mucho, nos lo pasamos genial. Las cabañas tienen muchos detalles, son cómodas, está todo limpísimo y el ambiente del sitio es insuperable. A destacar también los desayunos súper ricos y nosotros tuvimos la oportunidad de cenar y muy, muy bien. En pocas palabras, Poponé quedará siempre en mi corazón ❤️

Die Zufahrt ist - vor allem bei Dunkelheit - etwas versteckt, aber von der 32er Hauptstrasse problemlos ohne 4x4 zu erreichen. Beim Haupthaus angekommen, wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen aber als wir unsere kleine Hütte mit dem angezündeten Licht sahen, waren wir äusserst positiv überrascht. Alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Massageangebot von professioneller Masseurin. Nachtessen (vorher abklären, ob angeboten wird) und Frühstück waren ebenfalls sehr gut - wir können es sehr empfehlen. Preis/Leistung Top und für Weiterfahrt nach Tortuguero perfekt!

No hay palabras para este lugar, mágico, tranquilo, buen gusto en la decoración y muy bien equipado. Pasamos una noche maravillosa justo al llegar a Costa Rica. Jorge y su mujer son un matrimonio muy agradable te hacen sentir como en casa y preparan unos desayunos riquísimos!! RECOMENDABLE 100% !! Millones de gracias ☺️
