It's an apartment in Tower B of Huaye Plaza. The room is large, and the floor-to-ceiling windows provide good lighting and sunshine. I can enjoy the scenery while lying on the bed, which I particularly like. Traveling is also very convenient. To go to Songhua Lake and Zhuque Mountain, you can get on the bus at the starting point of East Square, which is very close. It's convenient for shopping and eating. Everything is good. I'm very satisfied with my stay.

Thanks to the hotel for helping to upgrade the room! The room is really spacious with a great view! The extra bathing tickets given by the hotel are also great! The environment and facilities of Ocean Star are very good! And the price is really touching! Various package activities are very cost-effective! Bathing tickets plus dining packages are absolutely worth it! The hotel is very close to Jilin Station, just a few minutes walk! The pancakes for breakfast are very delicious! The room was okay, quite satisfactory. There was a slight musty smell in the corridor and the elevator. It may be due to the recent rainy and humid weather. It is recommended to add some aromatherapy. The breakfast type is not bad, and there is a rich variety among hotels in the same price range.
The hotel staff are very enthusiastic and the service is attentive. The children had a happy stay. Moreover, the hotel price in Jilin City can only be said to be very cost-effective and will not be affected by the summer at all. Comparing the services and facilities based on the price, it is definitely a great value.

The location of the hotel is very good, just at the foot of Beishan Park. The lobby thoughtfully prepares various ice creams to cool down in the summer. The front desk lady is very good and specially arranged a room that is not facing the street. Mineral water is also prepared at the elevator entrance on the floor for use at any time. The most important thing is that the room is spacious, clean and odorless. The facilities are also new and the whole house is smart. When I go out to stay in a hotel, what I pay most attention to is new facilities, clean and odorless. It is very comfortable to live in, and the breakfast is also very good. It is a combination of Chinese and Western food, and it is a hotel with a really high cost performance. Next time I go to Jilin, I will choose Libo.

I booked this hotel through the official website of Ctrip (the Ctrip platform is very convenient and the service is also very good). Judging from the qualifications of the hotel and the facilities and scale marked, I think it should be one of the top 5 or even top 3 hotels in Jilin City, and the hotel has non-smoking floors and non-smoking rooms. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in smelled of smoke (the staff said that it had been smoke-free), and the air conditioner stopped cooling in the middle of the night. The most frustrating thing was that the public places such as the gym for exercise had a stronger smell of smoke (including the corridor on the 3rd floor where the gym was located). The working attitude and quality of the front desk staff were very good; 4- and 5-star hotels allow smoking in rooms on non-smoking floors and public fitness areas. This was the worst experience of this stay and it was very regrettable.

GGuest UserThis is a very cost-effective hotel. The bedding is very comfortable, and the location is good. There are supermarkets and it is easy to get a taxi. There are parking spaces on the roadside, but there are not many vacancies after staying for two days. Maybe the roadside space is a bit tight. Fortunately, I didn't rent a car. It is very close to Jiangbin Park, where there are rime and ice and snow parks, which are fun. Go to Wanlu Yinsi to see rime, and walk along the Songhua River. It's so beautiful. It's best to stay here when you come to Jilin to see rime.

GGuest UserIt was our first time in Songhua resort. We chose Jenny apartments because it seems they were very closed to slopes and we were right. The building 2 was just in front of the ski center building and the cable car. Simple but cozy apartment. Perfect for 3-4 people. Jenny and her family were absolutely nice since the beginning: she helped us with the luggages from the nearest parking ( the apartments are in a pedestrian area so the car can’t reach the door), to get the ski pass, to get some tickets for the swimming pool… and to resolve any doubt we had. They don’t offer breakfast but there are many choices 5 minutes walking. We enjoyed a lot our time in Songhua resort! We will come back soon!!

SStevey_FlI read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews.
The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center.
There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis.
The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free.
Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two.
(My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

KKELLY JAYI stayed at the Holiday Inn between Christmas and New Year. My friends stayed in the Club Med down the road. Although I joined them for dinner at Club Med, I was genuinely very happy with my stay at Holiday Inn. The room was spacious with a good layout. It had central heating and underfloor heating (lovely after a day of skiing). The room was clean, and I appreciate that the staff offered to change the linen and towels daily, but only on request as they were conscious of the environment. The staff were friendly, but it was difficult with the language barrier as they spoke very limited English and I needed to translate everything.
I was very happy with the breakfast at the hotel, as it had a range of good quality western and Asian dishes. I could easily fill up on this food and not eat again until dinner. If I had have been hungry, I could have visited the little snack shop in the lobby.
Though the hotel is a short 5min walk away from the main ski service hall, there is a ski-in ski-out option from the hotel if you already have equipment. Alternatively, you can ride the free shuttle bus from the hotel to the service hall. The shuttle bus runs every 5-10mins until 10pm, which is very useful as you can also use it to go to dinner and back. Included in the hotel booking, was free entrance to the Japanese hot springs. This is close to the ski hall, so you can take the shuttle. It is wonderful and highly recommended for all ages, especially as it is technically part of the hotel’s stay!

GGuest UserThe owner of the inn is very enthusiastic, and the dishes cooked by the chef are also delicious. The accommodation in the hotel is okay. You can contact the owner to arrange transportation. The hotel is near the Songhua River, and it happens to be where you can take pictures of sunsets and sunrises, and the rime is very good. By the way, I was able to take pictures of the stars, so I added the owner's WeChat account before checking in. He taught us in detail how to take the bus to the entrance of the inn after getting off the train. We ordered dinner in the restaurant at night when we arrived. My friend and I only ordered two dishes and didn't finish them. The portion was really huge. Early the next morning, the boss knocked on the door to wake us up and drove us to see it. Sunrise and rime. The boss’s Wuling car is a beautiful sight in the scenic spot. When he comes back, he will have a home-cooked breakfast at the inn. After dinner, the boss also drove us to the scenic spot of Wusong Island and introduced the local customs and characteristics to us tourists very enthusiastically. A very satisfying trip. I will come back next time!

CCat Z.We added the manager on Wechat and he was so helpful and attentive. Service was great. Room was warm and clean. We arrived late on the first night and asked for dinner recommendations. He checked our food preferences, called ahead and sent a car to take us to a good restaurant! Breakfast is nice and right next to the ski service center. He helped with tickets and transport for our whole trip. Would definitely stay again!

Accommodation is modern, clean and very comfortable. We slept 5 guys in the villa with no issues and we all loved it! 24hr mini shop next door and a little cafe with really friendly people for your morning coffee before hitting the slopes.
7am - 10pm free transport around the resort, just drop them a wechat message. 2 minutes shuttle to the slopes.
I cant rate it any higher - for the money, this place is top notch!
