The hotel is near the train station, so there are a lot of people and cars, and it is very lively. There are four parking spaces in front of the hotel, which seems a bit too few. But the land near the train station is very expensive, and it is not easy to get it. Everything in the hotel is small, the front desk is small, the lobby is small, and the room is even smaller. But the bedding is very good, and the linens are also very nice. The service is very enthusiastic, and the problem is solved quickly and thoroughly, which is worthy of praise! The hotel hygiene needs to be improved.

There were no rooms available during the May Day holiday, so I grabbed one online. Overall, it was clean, had no strange smells, the air was good, there was Huawei Internet TV in the room, and the membership was very comprehensive. The overall experience was very good, and it was not a rip-off at this price.

Laundry machine is available and laundry detergent is also provided! Front desk staff are very attentive and helpful. Nice front entrance area with seating. Very convenient location. Only thing is not room cleaning if you wake up after 10.

The reason why I stayed here is because of the good location. It is right next to the west square of Jilin Station, 6-7 minutes walk. It is very convenient to transfer trains to other places. The room facilities are old, but the bathroom looks relatively new. The cleaning lady is pretty nice, and the front desk the next day is also good.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. I felt very good last year. It was an old five-star hotel with a reasonable price, so I booked it again this year. But I was quite disappointed. The door lock of the first room was broken and kept ringing the alarm. The TV signal was intermittent in another room. Moreover, during the National Day, the red lanterns next to the national flag in the lobby were not lit at night, which did not give a festive feeling.

I booked a room on Ctrip and read the reviews saying that the La Perle Hotel is very close to Beishan and offers free popsicles. I booked a few rooms to try. When I arrived, the front desk staff were warm and thoughtful, like Manchu girls. I originally wanted to make do with a king-size room because there was no standard room, and they helped me to change it to a standard room. They also helped me download the Jinjianghui APP and received coupons. There are disposable toilet seats and two hooks in the bathroom. There is mineral water in the corridor and gym, and the laundry is clean, with laundry detergent and softener. I am very grateful to the staff of La Perle Hotel. I will stay at La Perle again.

This is a very cost-effective hotel. The bedding is very comfortable, and the location is good. There are supermarkets and it is easy to get a taxi. There are parking spaces on the roadside, but there are not many vacancies after staying for two days. Maybe the roadside space is a bit tight. Fortunately, I didn't rent a car. It is very close to Jiangbin Park, where there are rime and ice and snow parks, which are fun. Go to Wanlu Yinsi to see rime, and walk along the Songhua River. It's so beautiful. It's best to stay here when you come to Jilin to see rime.

This is the sixth time I have stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Jilin City. As always, the hotel's first-class hardware facilities and services are comfortable. Whether it is the handsome guys and girls at the front desk, the guest rooms, or the restaurant staff, they are all warm and meticulous, polite and thoughtful, well-trained, and everything is people-oriented. The customer service staff not only remembered the time of my last stay, but also remembered the room number and habits of my stay, which is very professional! The hotel restaurant is spacious and bright, with breakfasts with both Chinese and Western characteristics, plus Northeast local snacks and dishes, and a variety of drinks, with a very rich selection. The hotel is located in the prosperous area of Jiangnan on Jilin Street, which is very convenient for business and vacation travel.

Traveling with children during the National Day, I booked a cozy king-size room. When checking in, I happened to meet the beautiful lady in charge of the housekeeping department. She upgraded the suite and added a single bed for free, and also gave me an adult breakfast. It was very nice😀
Although the hotel opened in 2013, the room was tidy and clean.
The breakfast was very rich, a combination of Chinese and Western, and there were Jilin-style glutinous rice noodles, noodles, and three-fresh stuffing boxes...
Convenient transportation, there are many bus stops downstairs of the hotel
I will choose to stay here next time I come

GGuest UserFriends, I really highly recommend this store! ! ! There are many B&Bs on Wusong Island. After careful selection, I chose this one with the best reviews. The shop owner and his family are very enthusiastic. My brother and I ordered Manchu hot pot the night we arrived. It cost more than 100 yuan and was very filling and the portion was special. They even gave us free fruit! Corn is super delicious! ! The popcorn is also a must! The breakfast the next morning was also free with various side dishes, steamed buns, and eggs. It was great. I was very lucky. The rime was particularly heavy that day. Lucky for the New Year! The place where you stay is a kang. Southerners must try it. Wall crack recommended! ! ! ! !

GGuest UserIt was our first time in Songhua resort. We chose Jenny apartments because it seems they were very closed to slopes and we were right. The building 2 was just in front of the ski center building and the cable car. Simple but cozy apartment. Perfect for 3-4 people. Jenny and her family were absolutely nice since the beginning: she helped us with the luggages from the nearest parking ( the apartments are in a pedestrian area so the car can’t reach the door), to get the ski pass, to get some tickets for the swimming pool… and to resolve any doubt we had. They don’t offer breakfast but there are many choices 5 minutes walking. We enjoyed a lot our time in Songhua resort! We will come back soon!!

SStevey_FlI read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews.
The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center.
There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis.
The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free.
Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two.
(My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

GGuest UserLove Trip.com, and Holiday Inn in BeiDaHu is great, but I was wondering if the services offered to Chinese nationals can also be offered to foreigners, for instance being able to buy Ski Lifts thought the hotel. This service is only offer to Chinese nationals with a local ID Number, in addition is only offered in the app in Chinese. I went to Holiday Inn so i can ski in Beidahu, which is wonderful, but had to buy a ticket every day, go to lines, etc.... instead of having a 4 day ticket offered to Chinese id holders.
Other than that Trip.com is great for PRC,

GGuest UserWe stayed here on New Years Eve for 1 night in the suite and were happy with our choice. The room was spacious, modern, spotless, and the general layout of the rooms was nice in that the bathroom and bedroom were far apart. (The bathroom has a solid door and the shower is separated, which we always appreciate.) At first as foreigners we were told by the staff we couldn't stay there (even though they accepted our booking with our foreign passports), but the manager stepped in and was so helpful and apologetic. He could speak English and politely explained the situation, then spoke to the local police to sort everything out. He also gave us an ice bucket for our ice cream delivery later, and helped me to look for a pair of glasses I thought I left in the room after we left -- so friendly and professional! There's very little parking, but they have an attendant help fit everyone's cars in. Our only suggestions would be for the room set up: a couch would be much cozier in the living room area, or alternatively the TV should maybe go in the bedroom. A door or curtain for the bedroom could also help block out light. Overall a great stay though! And from a lot of searching on ctrip, seems like one of the nicest options in downtown!

JjtravelsPhase 2 is just 8 mins walk to the Ski Resort. There is a bar, restaurants and groceries just below the hotel. The housekeeping service is great. Because of the snow, the room might get wet from the shoes but the housekeeper comes in daily to clean the room. The buffet breakfast is in the Korean restaurant next to the ski resort. It is 28rmb but mine comes with it for free. Many selection of Chinese breakfast food.
Good sound proof wall. No reception or person to welcome you but you can add the manager’s wechat. He will send you the door number password. He can also help you rent ski equipment , get ski tickets or rent a car to the airport (1.5 drive, 320rmb) . You can also take the shuttle bus (2hrs, free) but check the timing as it is only 3 times a day. Bed is comfy and water temperature and pressure are just right. There is no facilities. You can go to Seibu Price hotel and pay 158 for gym, pool and hot spring. It was awesome and it’s walking distance. I will stay here again because of value for money!

GGuest UserWe traveled to Songhuahu with another American expat family. Booked 4 rooms for two families with 7 kids and two adults. It was tight but that was expected. Xiaohui got us extra bed and blankets so everything worked out for sleeping. Only a 5 minute walk to the ski shop for rentals and then a 2 minute shuttle to the base of the slopes. This is an awesome skii experience for families. (But this region doesn’t have many English speakers so you’ll need to be able to speak Chinese or use translation software or have a translator) For this price you can’t beat this place. We came to play and ski, not hang out in the room. 😆. Breakfast was awesome if you like Chinese style buns, noodles, rice, eggs etc. Lunch and dinner options are plentiful and surprisingly affordable (US$5-10) and there are some descent beers to be found. The resort was designed by a Japanese firm so its well thought out. Bunny slopes are to the left and greens at the base. Blues are good and weave in and out of the greens if you want. There’s a separate section for blues and another for blacks with its own lift for the dads. (If you’re into double black’s you’ll Be disappointed but we were having fun with the blacks and wooded sections) there are sections for jumps too. Great variety for 3 day family skiing. The lifts even have windshields and there’s a gondola to the top. Restaurant at the top can get you a bowl of noodles for only US$5 or hit chocolate for 3. Medical care was efficient and cheap too, and the park fee comes with insurance. Don’t ask how we know. Haha. The best thing was the service from Xiaohui. We literally didn’t have to think about anything- tickets, lessons, gear. Price was market price for the season but so so easy. One of our best vacations ever. Good place for a variety of skier levels and not too crowded even at peak season.

It’s an unforgettable stay of my life at any place and I would say that I thoroughly enjoyed each moment of it. Thats why this the longest review I have ever written. I originally planned the trip to Wusong Island just for one day but the love and care of uncle Xie’s family made me change my mind. Xie Inn reminds me of going to my grandma’s home where I plan to go for day but ended up staying for weeks and feel sad when I would leave. Thanks Uncle Xie, grandma, Xie’s handsome son and his wife, Xie’s wife and my Xie’s wife’s nephew for making this trip so memorable. Hope to see you next time.
The reasons I recommend this place
1) the warmest and most comfortable place to stay in Dongbei with great internal heating
2) The warmth and hospitality of Uncle Xie’s family
3)Uncle Xie is very knowledgeable and knows every little details about Rimes. He takes his guests to the best side of island away from other tourists. Uncle xie is the best photographer.

Could have used some more kitchen equipment to go with the kitchen - there’s just a kettle and a couple of cups. Likewise the bed sheets are a little small: they kept falling off the bed. But for this price, we were very happy - we will book again!
