The tatami mattress will not suit everyone, they are not very thick. I used the quilt from the second bed to thicken up the mattress.
The people running it are very friendly and they own a restaurant as we where I ate. The food was good but far too much for a single traveller.

It's a lovely place. We stayed there because we couldn't book accommodation within the mountain online. But we'd probably repeat if we came back. The hosts were very laid back and friendly, and provided a completely different experience in contrast to the touristy choice. There isn't much to do in the neighbourhood, but we could have dinner and buy a beer in a shop nearby and drink it in a small terrace, which was nice. The hotel also boasts a vegetable garden, which is nice to look at from your bedroom

Comfortable stay! We only stayed there for the night to go hiking early the next morning so we didn't stay there long, but it had everything we needed. Also, the laoban is very nice!

The room was clean and hygienic, about 300 meters away from the Mianshan Visitor Center. We parked our car at the farmhouse and walked to the scenic area, saving a lot of parking fees. The scenery in the Mianshan Scenic Area was pleasant, and my friends were very satisfied!
