The ambiance is refined and peaceful, the exterior boasts a quaint, rustic charm, and the interior reveals a timeless appeal. The moment you open the main door, you're greeted with a direct view of the scenic area – truly unbeatable value for money!
Wuzhen Scenic Area absolutely lives up to its reputation as a world-class destination; every aspect is incredibly well-developed and sophisticated! All establishments within the scenic area, including this hotel, operate under unified management, with transparent and fair pricing. The service is exceptionally professional: from the moment you step into the service center through check-in, and even for guidance on exploring the area and finding local specialties, dedicated staff are on hand to assist, so you don't have to worry about a thing.
Staying within the scenic area offers numerous advantages: entrance tickets, shuttle buses, traditional sculling boat rides, and breakfast are all complimentary! I cannot recommend it highly enough!

I simply must commend Tishang Hotel for its unparalleled attention to detail! The rooms are equipped with mattresses and pillows whose firmness can be adjusted. Even my mom, with her notoriously finicky neck, slept soundly all night! The breakfast spread was not just plentiful but utterly delightful, offering everything from Chinese dim sum to Western pastries—starting the day with such a meal felt truly therapeutic!
The hotel boasts a superb location—tucked away in the most secluded part of Xizha Scenic Area, offering both privacy and tranquility, yet remarkably convenient. A complimentary on-demand shuttle service is available to all scenic spots. The stunning infinity pool was a huge hit with the kids, who had an absolute blast; from the poolside, you can watch boats drift by on the river, a scene as picturesque as an ink wash painting.
This hotel genuinely hits all the right notes for families traveling with children! Thoughtful amenities, a prime location, and fantastic options for kids to burn off energy—it truly made our Wuzhen trip perfect! 💯

EEUC riderFantastic rooms. Very large and well appointed. Restaurants don’t do well for vegans but otherwise fine. Service in the Paulaner bar was slow with only one server the evening we tried it. It’s not cheap but it’s very good value for what you get. I’ve stayed twice and would definitely stay again. Recommended if you want to be near the train station.

KKazzy travelerInspirok Hotel Tongxiang- First time back in Tongxiang after 4 years. 7 nights in a spacious ”Business Room” in building B with 2 very firm king single beds that gave me a sore upper back. (I don't have back problems normally...) Flat pillows. The hopeless Air-conditioning struggled to get to an absolute low of 23C and was noisy. (32C days and 26C nights.). Huge bathroom with bath. Flow limited shower with hand shower and rain shower. Mostly quiet due to reduced occupancy and outside traffic. Good blockout curtains. International power points with USB power but you must have an earth pin if you want to use an Aussie plug. (Or risk manually pushing up the earth lockout.) Many free english movies available now on the tv in reasonable quality. One thing that I found particularly handy was that a small tube of liquid laundry detergent is supplied and some hooks above the bath.
There was no bar fridge in my room on arrival but one was quickly supplied, gratis, when I asked. (Empty).
Large shopping mall one block from the hotel and small 7-eleven type shop very near the front entrance where you can buy tsing taos for 6rmb.
The included buffet breakfast was pretty average with fewer choices and poorer quality than similar 5* hotels. Very average automatic coffee machines and coffee pots. It was also so overcrowded on the Sunday- with a convention booking- that many people could not be seated. Most mornings it was reasonably quiet.
Excellent room service Indonesian fried rice. I also had the ”all you can eat” buffet a couple of nights but thought that it was over priced for the quality of food available at 138RMB (approx 30aud.)
Reasonable wifi access throughout the hotel and I was able to read my Gmail but not send it. (I couldn't even download it in Jiangsu.)
There is no option on the Trip booking page to ask for 'special requests” for this hotel. Also no option to ask for a non smoking floor and I wasn't asked at check-in. Very annoying.

MM18639****My stay at the Hilton Jiaxing this time was absolutely fantastic! Even before I had fully stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by the warm enthusiasm of staff member Mona, who proactively helped upgrade my room – setting a wonderfully positive tone right from the start.
The room itself was cozy and elegantly furnished. Its spacious layout, starting from a generous 42 square meters, ensured I never felt cramped. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered a superb view; at night, the glittering city lights were a beautiful sight to behold right from my bed. The in-room amenities also reflected high quality: a 55-inch HD LCD TV, a separate shower and bathtub, and international brand Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries – every detail exuded a touch of luxury. Executive Rooms and Suites even come equipped with a capsule coffee machine and a variety of teas, truly demonstrating an understanding of guests' needs.
The hotel's dining options were also a delightful surprise! Yu All-Day Dining restaurant offered an extensive breakfast buffet with a complete array of both Chinese and Western dishes. Local Jiaxing specialties like 'rouzong' (savory sticky rice dumplings) and Nanhu water caltrops, along with mini pan-fried buns and tofu pudding, all tasted fantastic. The freshly-made Eggs Benedict and pan-fried dumplings are definitely a must-try. Adjacent to the restaurant, there's a playful children's dining and play zone, which families with kids will surely appreciate. The Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor specializes in local Shanghai and Cantonese cuisine, boasting a serene and elegant ambiance perfect for family gatherings or business dinners. Afternoon tea at the Silk Lobby Lounge was exquisite and delicious; paired with a signature cocktail, it created a wonderfully relaxing experience. The Executive Lounge's afternoon tea and Happy Hour were equally impressive, offering a wide variety of hot dishes, desserts, and fruits, all of high quality.
The leisure facilities were also comprehensive. The fitness center on the 2nd floor features a variety of equipment, and the indoor heated pool has crystal-clear water. After a swim, you can unwind in the sauna. Furthermore, the hotel boasts an excellent location in Nanhu District, surrounded by all sorts of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. Wanda Plaza is just a short walk away, and it's not far from Nanhu Scenic Area, Yuehe Ancient Town, and Jiaxing South High-Speed Railway Station, making travel incredibly convenient. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jiaxing, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time!

WWoshiqiqi1. **Check-in Process**: Check-in was done via a self-service kiosk, with staff assistance available. We were informed about the 'Morning Tea Cruise' details and booking method. Unfortunately, there were no spots left for the next day's cruise when we checked in, so I had to book it myself later through the mini-program.
2. **Breakfast**:
* We booked the 588 RMB 'Breakfast Cruise'. I later found out from the inn's promotional material that this package includes xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), but these were not served during our actual meal.
* The inn's breakfast is a buffet. While the variety wasn't extensive, each of us found dishes we liked. The food was replenished promptly and in ample quantities. The children's breakfast costs about 45 RMB per person, which is decent value for money.
3. **Room Experience**:
* The twin beds were moderately firm and could be combined. When combined, it was suitable for a family of three (including a 13-year-old child). When separated, a single bed felt a bit small and cramped for two people.
* Our room was located near the end of the corridor in Building 1. Initially, entering through the main gate required a long walk. After asking a staff member, we learned about a back entrance, which is conveniently located next to the Water Pavilion Restaurant (making dining easy) and offered much quicker access.
* There were very few places to hang wet clothes (like underwear) in the room. The bathroom had no suitable hanging area, and wet clothes couldn't be put into the wardrobe, which was a clear drawback. I didn't confirm if the inn has a laundry room and did not use any related facilities.
4. **Price and Value for Money**: We stayed for 3 nights, averaging 1908 RMB per night. Initially, I thought the holiday price was a bit steep, but our experience after checking in was satisfactory. Compared to the inn's rooms with balconies, I believe the standard twin room offers better value for money, and a price increase during holidays is to be expected.
5. **Service Highlight**: During our stay, the inn proactively provided a plate of fruit every day. This thoughtful detail enhanced our overall positive impression.
6. **Location and Additional Experience**:
* The inn is close to the 'Morning Tea Cruise' area, allowing for a scenic walk in the morning (fewer people early on, making it ideal for photos) before returning for a meal. The water in Wuzhen is quite clean.
* The advantage of the 'Breakfast Cruise' is that you can enjoy the meal while cruising, avoiding the long queues that can occur during holidays.

MMichael & Nici Exploring China and BeyondWe booked our stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Jiaxing, to celebrate my wife's Birthday, and to enjoy Dragon Boat Festival.
The initial impact when entering the Hotel is good, the fragrance is pleasant, and the decor is modern and sleek.
During the online booking process, I had some Special Requests ”Romantic Theme” for the room, the request, was promptly approved.
Upon entering the Hotel, we were greeted by Sandy, at the front of House / Reception area.
Her service was prompt and professional.
She was friendly and informed us, that my wife would be receiving a cake for her Birthday.
The check in process was efficient.
We had the opportunity to briefly meet Edith, the Manager on duty.
She was friendly and welcoming.
The Birthday Cake and Fruit Platter, was delivered to our room, shortly after we checked in.
In my experience, the ”Restaurant” is the ”heartbeat” of any successful Hotel.
A restaurant with poor service and / or bad food, will surely lead to the demise of the business.
Fortunately, that's not the case for the ”Eatery Restaurant” at the ”Four Points by Sheraton” in Jiaxing.
The Restaurant's Staff are all very professional, and take pride in what they do.
The Buffet Dinner is available, during the weekends, and is very reasonably priced (great value for money).
The variety and quality of the cusine, is on International standard.
Western and Chinese dishes, are professionally prepared, and served at this Restaurant.
If I were to single out on special dish, it would most definitely be the ”Beef Wellington”, it was perfectly cooked and presented (the Best I have eaten, to date).
Compliments to the chef/s in this regard.
Special thanks to Tina, whom is always courteous, when I / we, visit the Restaurant.
Infact, Tina is the reason for my return and stay at the Hotel, this time around.

I could not help but notice, that Housekeeping were cleaning the rooms thoroughly.
Their service should not be overlooked, as their hard work, ensure that the facilities remain on standard.
Breakfast was excellent, with a superior variety of quality dishes and ingredients available.
We can recommend the ”Four Points by Sheraton” Jiaxing, to all guests, foreign and domestic.
We look forward to our next stay, and hope to enjoy many more special moments at this Hotel.
