This is absolutely one of the best resort hotels we have stayed. The view to the lake is not the best but we are very happy to be hearing bird chirpping in the morning. The corridor of the hotel is unbelievable wide and spacious. The service provided is amongst the best that a hotel could provide. This hotel in the best location next to Nanhu where most of the sights are within walking distance or very close by. It is offering beautiful and relaxing walks along the lake. Going to the old city wall or to the old town takes only a short ride on the taxi of about 10 minutes. The restaurant for breakfast is just beautiful and the food is excellent. We just love this hotel and we will be back. If you are planning to visit Jiaxing, this will be the best hotel in Nanhu. Jiaxing is just absolutely serene and beautiful. We have taken heaps of beautiful photos and so lucky to be staying at Jiaxing Nanhu Resort Hotel.

It’s absolutely beautiful! First class. Amazing breakfast. Too bad people smoke cigarettes everywhere but that’s typical in China. Anyhow, we hope to have a reason to stay in jiaxing again just so we can enjoy this beautiful hotel.

Goddess Day happened to be our wedding anniversary. When we checked in, the handsome guy upgraded our room for free. The room is nice and quiet. Nanhu Lake is outside the window. You can enter Nanhu Lake directly by swiping the room card. There are fat koi in the pond beside the pavilion. There is a 7-story tower on the west side where you can climb up and see far. Not bad, it made up for all the points lost by Xiao Cuisine. Xiao Cuisine has a good environment and the dishes are really average.

It was my first time to Jiaxing, so I chose the Jiaxing State Guesthouse. It was excellent. The hotel is a garden-style hotel with a beautiful environment. The room is spacious and bright. The day I checked in was the Women's Day on March 8th. The hotel sent a flower during the turndown service, which was very ceremonial. There are many varieties of breakfast options, and the taste is great. I will go again next time when the spring comes.
