I came to Xitang with my little sister. After a friend introduced that this homestay was very good in all aspects, we found the stay this time. We were very satisfied. We lived in a duplex with a loft. The hall below and the room above. I especially like the scenery door that is opened. Birds and flowers are fragrant. A group of seven people booked three rooms on the first floor of Xiaoman Villa. They were clean and tidy. It's also big. You can also drink tea and chat in the courtyard. It's very nice. You can watch the night view of Xitang in the evening and get up early the next day to visit the real Jiangnan water town. It's very comfortable. You can also try the food in the ancient town. The boss was very enthusiastic about picking up and dropping off the whole trip and also introduced the scenic spots in the ancient town. I was very surprised that it was very close to the ancient town and it only took 3 minutes to walk to the ticket gate. The lobby is full of green plants. The rooms are clean and tidy. Needless to say, the service is very enthusiastic. It is really a very pleasant stay and trip. I will stay here again next time I come to Xitang. Highly recommended❤️

MMichael ZargarovThis is a marvelous homestay-guesthouse. Located in a quiet area of the old-town, but very close to many bars and restaurants. Next door to a temple.
The owner is a friendly man who loves cats... and has three lazy, fat cats who sleep most of the time. He even gave us chilled bottles of Perrier French mineral water upon our arrival! The courtyard has two Loquat trees which provided many delicious fruits.
Our room was upstairs in this renovated old Qing-Dynasty house. We had a small private balcony. The bed was very comfortable, with great bolster pillows for watching movies on the huge screen. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was huge and even included a Japanese toilet with bidet functions. Soft towels. Good toiletries.
The included breakfasts, served in the courtyard, were wonderful. Fried bread, two-kinds of dumplings, soy milk, boiled eggs. Delicious coffee. Watermelon slices.
Xitang is a beautiful, if a bit over-commercialized ”ancient” town. We enjoyed our visit, and this lovely guest-house. The guesthouse is a bit hard to locate. It is in the Eastern part of the old town, near the bar street. For those who enjoy Hanfu, there are MANY shops nearby where you can rent the costumes.

He helped us get our luggage and guided us to the front desk of the hotel. When we arrived at the front desk, every hotel staff member was smiling. While we were checking in, the hotel housekeeper, Ms. Gu Jialan, added WeChat to introduce all the hotel facilities and help us book dinner.
