Location was perfect. Inside scenic area Next to entrance. Free entry after 5pm. Room was great! Breakfast buffet spread could be better. Not much varieties. Check in process abit slow due to only one worker at reception. Overall great stay! Would def come Back again!

We stayed 1 night. The hotel is very quiet, nice and clean, the staff is very kind. We will come back. It’s easy to reach, few meters from North entrance and 5mn walk from main canal and one of the pier to do the cruise tour

The initial courtyard room was not satisfactory as it was noisy. However, upon feedback, Ms Cai was proactive in quickly moving us to another room that was nice. Reception by the two ladies was friendly. Service by Ms Cai was especially warm. She also helped with my luggage after checkout and accompanied us to our car at Xitang’s gate. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located in a convenient and accessible location, just slightly away (a short walk) from the main thoroughfare so it was peaceful. We will not hesitate to stay here again :)

The room is nice, location is good. The only issues is not tourists friendly. As there no phone in the room. Hence if u are international tourist may face issues to get the reception and connecting to their wifi is horrible. As said no issues for rooms, location and service staff. Just that not tourists friendly where you bring elderly pax and no phone to connect with ppl in other room and wifi connection also and issues.

Very nice hotel... well located, inside the walls of the histroic water town, but in a quiet part, away from the hustle of the crowded streets. Room was clean and easily large enough.. with good lighting and private toilet/shower, and daily room service. The buffet breakfast, included in the room price was very good. I speak no mandarin; so I had to communicate with the reception/front desk staff using translate on phones. The front desk staff were wonderful... cheerful, helpful. They went to great lenghts to explain to me how to obtain and buis ticket to Shanghai, where to catch the bus and so on... also the same staff were extremely helpful with day to day questions. The only strange or negative thing is that when shown the room, it looks wonderful as it includes a small private verandah with table and chair. However, there is a fixed wire screen preventing the inhabitant from accessing the room's verandah... kind of strange and certainly a negative

This was such a beautiful hotel! Located inside the ancient town (about 1 min walk from the north gate), with stunning grounds and room. We also had a private balcony with a comfortable swing seat! Breakfast was delicious (Chinese style obviously) and all the staff were extremely accommodating. Would highly recommend this place and want to return again!

Beautiful traditional style hotel. Its massive. Room was nice and comfortable, good size and had a big balcony as well. Its In the xitang town so very easy to walk around the ancient town. Highly recommend it.
