Chose this hotel because of the good reviews and free airport transfers. Was disappointed with the cleanliness. The room felt like it was cleaned and then left unused for some time. They didn't bother to clean it out again even though they were expecting hotel guests - notable amount of dead flies and dirt on the floor. They provided ample toiletries (slippers, hairdryer even) but the toiletries were sitting in a thin layer of dust. That's fine, met my basic needs to rest during a long overnight layover. Don't expect "hotel" standard - think of this place like a local homestay in an ulu town near the airport. Hardworking young man shuttled passengers from airport all night. Punctual despite having slept little, he has no qualms in showing you how tired he is, but still tries to remain helpful and polite. The lady at the counter did her job to check me in, but when asked to clarify where the room was (separate building), was lackadaisical, repeated her initial instructions and returned to using her phone (to watch videos) without making sure I understood. Ok for the price point, but I've definitely gotten better cleanliness and attitude for the same price elsewhere.
