Location was ideal; near the 建水紫陶街 and is no more than a 10-minute drive to 建水临安古城. The family room assigned was spacious and clean enough, just that it was on the top floor; there were no elevators, so I have to lug my huge suitcases up about 8 flights. The kids were disappointed that the pool wasn't maintained and didn't take a dip, but every morning's authentic breakfast made up for it.

Hotel was well designed, modern, clean, and the room had an excellent shower. The swimming pool was not useable, however, during our stay. I would definitely stay again if the pool is available in future.

If you want to go there for the service, I advise you not to go. When checking in, the front desk kept looking down and acted as if we owed him a ****, and we had to climb stairs to the fourth floor with a child and a lot of luggage. The room was said to be a double room but there was only one pillow. I originally booked a room for two days, but when I went upstairs, I immediately gave up the room for the second day.

It is a rare French-style B&B in Jianshui. The owner takes care of it very carefully. I saw several aunties cleaning it in the morning. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the courtyard was very atmospheric. Due to the limited time, I was not able to sit in the courtyard. It is very convenient to go to Zitao Street. Breakfast includes Western bread, yogurt and Chinese rice noodles. The service is good.
