Hotels in Mount Fanjing, Jiangkou

It is very close to the scenic area. It takes less than ten minutes to walk to the gate of the scenic area across the bridge and the food street. When you enter the lobby, the environment is elegant and you instantly feel like you are on vacation. The guest rooms are exquisite and elegant, clean and tidy, suitable for people who have high requirements for hygiene. The breakfast is freshly baked, hot and warm. The employee number 002 is very enthusiastic, thumbs up.

This is a gem of a bed and breakfast establishment. We were upgraded to a family style room upon arrival. The room was very large for the two of us. The room was located on the third floor and there is no elevator, but the host graciously carried our luggage to our room. The proximity of the accommodation to the Fangjian Mountain enables us to reach the park area before most other tourists coming from the nearby cities. We were already on our way down the mountain when we see the huge lines of people waiting for the buses and cable cars to come into the park. The accommodation itself is quite impressive. The host and hostess did a good job of renovating to include all the modern amenities of a 5 stars hotel. I would definitely recommend this place!

Although a good location and a nice room, the hotel is not equipped to host foreign guests. There is a lack of willingness to help. When you ask for help in booking a taxi, they give you a number and tell you to do it yourself. This is not the service I expect from a hotel at that price. I have never encountered a hotel so unwilling to help in any way. They did not help us to buy tickets for the mountain (which considering they are next to, is the one service they should provide! Every other hotel we have visited on our tour has helped us with attraction tickets). Foreigners cannot buy tickets without a Chinese ID. However, the hotel insisted we buy advance tickets, so we got a friend to help us instead. This was the wrong information: we were able to buy tickets on the day and could not use a friend’s ID! It is unacceptable to have such little information about the one tourist site next door; the only reason guests are staying in this remote location. Our check-in also took longer than usual, and breakfast is apparently a ‘tour group’ style breakfast voucher. All in all, a disappointing stay. However as the hotel has a great location and nice rooms, this is easily fixable.

The guy at the B&B was very polite and enthusiastic. He thoughtfully helped me upgrade. He also taught me the arrangements for the trip to Mount Fanjing the next morning and how to make a reservation for the return trip to Tongren Station. The room was very comfortable. I had a good night's sleep. I had enough energy to climb the mountain in the morning and enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Fanjing and worship Buddha.

We enjoyed our stay at Yunfu. We arrived a little earlier than check in, so we went to wait by the pagoda in the square. literally two minutes walk. At night the square comes to life but we were able to sleep peacefully. The owners (I presume) were really welcoming and helped us buy tickets for the mountain. they drop and collected us from the bottom of the mountain. nice touch that we appreciated. The room is nicely decorated and has a worth about it. its clean and has AC. The beds are comfy. pillows ok. There is a restaurant just outside the hotel door to the right. we went to the one to the right but across the small road. awesome fish and bamboo. Its a nice town for like 2-3 days. We arranged with the taxi driver who drove us from train station to hotel to pick us up when we went back. very affordable prices. P.S: if you are gonna go during a holiday or summer/winter holidays BOOK YOUR TICKES IN ADVANCE. or call the hotel to help you.And go in the morning. You will understand why when you are half way up. the hotel was were really helpfully a week before we even arrived. We would stay again.

The hotel is very close to the entrance of Fanjishan park ,just 10 minutes walking .The room was very comfortable, with the characteristics of a five star hotel, the breakfast was very good, particularly the noudols soup with mushrooms and peanuts and the bao buns both sweet and savory. All the staff were exceptional showing kindness and caring took care of us: the cook who cooked the soup at the moment, the maid who washed our clothes for free and above all the hotel manager Ao Bo who overcame every language barrier and took care of anything we needed in the room and in general in the village during our stay, and finally arranged a taxi for us to Tongren station. Thank you all!

This guesthouse was really wonderful and charming! The owners are very thoughtful, kind, and helpful. The guesthouse is conveniently located in Jiangkou village and the room was comfortable and clean. If you are planning to visit Fanjing Mountain, we highly recommend that you stay here. We were able to walk to the scenic spot entrance very easily (although the owner also offered to drop and pick us up); the entrance is only a 2km walk away. Getting transportation to and from the guesthouse is also convenient as it is close to a drop-off/pick-up spot/parking lot. We took a 7-seater shuttle from Tongren station, and the owners helpfully arranged our return journey to the station so we didn't have to worry about it. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was not bad, and the homestay was very clean. His service is very good, knowing that we are going to Fanjing Mountain the next morning, and the kitchen is also early to prepare breakfast for us. The boss also drove us to the entrance of the scenic spot in two batches for our group. The first rice noodles to Guizhou were eaten here, breakfast was good, and parking was convenient. A recommended homestay!

It's a great B&B. It has an elevator and is very convenient for carrying luggage. There are plenty of parking spaces. It's well decorated and has strong air conditioning. It's a few minutes' drive from the east gate of Mount Fanjing. The boss will provide pick-up and drop-off from the east gate of the scenic spot. The B&B doesn't have breakfast. It’s not a big problem, because if you want to go to Fanjing Mountain early in the morning, you have to arrive at the scenic spot around 7 o’clock. There are many breakfast shops next to the entrance of the scenic spot. They have noodles, porridge, steamed buns and soy milk. They are all rich. You can get them right at the entrance of the scenic spot. After eating, I went in. It was very leisurely. The TV was also big. The faucet had plenty of water. The location of the B&B was also very quiet at night. Highly recommended. If you don’t like the smart toilet seat, you can still flush it by unplugging the power.

The boss was very enthusiastic. We arrived at 11 o'clock at night. Because it was the off-season, it was dark all the way after getting off the expressway. The lights were not turned on in the B&B and restaurants. However, the owner of this shop kept the lights on waiting for me. After arriving, the boss quickly upgraded the room and even told us the time to go up the mountain. The boss also gave me gloves the next morning, which was very nice.
