A very cost-effective hotel, just on the banks of the Xin'an River, the location is excellent. What is worthy of praise is the hotel's ”butler service”. We didn't know that we booked a river view room. The housekeeper He Qinfei upgraded us to a river view room. It was great. For this reason, we stayed for another night. On the afternoon of the check-in day, the waiter Miss Xu Zhongzhen warmly sent us fruit, so that we have a warmth of home. In addition, I would like to like the hotel's dishes, especially braised pork and Yunnan mushroom dishes, which are worth recommending and very delicious. The waiter of the restaurant, Miss Xu Xiaoqing, also served us warmly, and for this reason, we deliberately went back to the hotel to eat when we were hungry. If you come to Jiande next time, you must choose the Peninsula Kaihao Hotel.

Immediately Upon arrival the staff we're very welcoming and the hospitality felt genuine. There were complimentary snacks in the foyeur for the Qingming festival which kept the little one entertained whilst we dealt with a very swift check-in, The room was facing the river and immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. When we went swimming our daughter didn't have goggles to wear and was gratefully lent a set by the staff there. The Food was really great and our waitress Cindy helped us with every request we had for breakfast and on the second day, because we had to leave early, the front desk lady Alice also assisted us by preparing a take-away meal. The fact that the hotel opens into a very modern shopping center made sure that We throughly enjoyed our Stay and we highly recommend anyone else to stay.

It feels so cost-effective, and the double-bed room with a 1.35-meter double bed is booked at a very affordable price, which is great! The hotel is located in Jiande, Hangzhou, which is a very unpopular place during the Chinese New Year. It is suitable for vacation. The content facilities are complete. There are many parent-child interactive projects and water projects, go-karts, etc., but they are charged separately. The overall cost performance of the room is very high. The front desk upgraded the room type to a suite for 4 people. Dogs are allowed. The external environment is better. You can see the scenery by pushing the window. There is a forest oxygen bar. The hotel service staff are very enthusiastic. You can ask the chef to arrange pick-up and drop-off wherever you go. The price of the Chinese restaurant is not high, and the taste is satisfactory and worthy of the price, but the surrounding area is very desolate. There is no place to eat. You have to drive half an hour to Yanzhou Ancient City to eat, which is also a tourist attraction. It's good. The business is better in hot weather, there are many people, and the interactive activities are all open. The experience will be better. I feel that staying for 2 nights is the most suitable

The room is very new and there is no peculiar smell. I stayed there for two days and it was very worthwhile and I was very satisfied. There were also toothbrushes and slippers for the baby, and there was also a small refrigerator that I could use directly. The considerations are quite comprehensive. The hotel is well designed. If the weather is good and it doesn't rain, it will still be very photogenic. Moreover, the hotel has many sports facilities indoors, so there is no need to worry about having no place to play even if it rains recently. There are table tennis courts, badminton, gyms, and children's playgrounds. The children's playground is still very new and there is no smell. The baby reserved the playground that day. There are also basketball courts and football fields outdoors. You can also set up tents when the weather is warm. It is very suitable for team building and family gatherings. There is not much food and nothing special. It is more convenient to drive by car.

Stray Clouds Villa is a fantastic place to stay in Jiande, especially for those looking to take a break from city life and enjoy some time in the countryside. The owner of the hotel lives in Singapore, but handles registration for foreigners remotely. The three women who work at the hotel are lovely and make sure that each guest is treated with the same generous hospitality. My only suggestion for foreign passport holders looking to stay here is to establish contact with the owner in advance by adding his WeChat (same as the hotel's phone number) to share documents required for registration at the local police station including passport information page, current Chinese visa, most recent entry stamp, residential address in China, and phone number. This will decrease the time needed for check-in. The hotel itself was spectacularly clean and the rooms were spacious. The hotel is just minutes away by foot from Tuanyun Pagoda (抟云塔) and Wenchang Pavilion (文昌阁), two of Xinye Ancient's Village (新叶古村) most recognizable landmarks. The nearest bullet train station in Lanxi, Jinhua is currently closed, so it's best to take a bullet train into Jiande Station (建德站) followed by a 70-90 minute Didi directly to the hotel. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway!
