This is by far the most satisfying guesthouse I've stayed at on this trip. The courtyard boasts a unique garden landscape with charming small bridges, flowing water, and a tranquil koi pond, creating an exceptionally peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and bright, offering lovely views from the window. All amenities are smart and the entire place is impeccably clean. The owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming, assisting with luggage and even offering warm milk before bed. Breakfast was fantastic too! Due to the excellent experience, I decided to extend my stay in Shaxi for another night, but unfortunately, they were fully booked. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied!

The original beam and column structure of the 78-year-old house was fully preserved. On the basis of the utmost respect for the soul of the ancient Bai ethnic architecture in Shaxi, the wabi-sabi aesthetic and Song Dynasty elements were perfectly integrated to create a hotel that combines vacation, leisure and culture.
