The location was really good, inside the city center and just 5-10 min walking to the main streets. The hotel is really cute, has a nice backyard and a lovely cat.
The room was nice, I would suggest getting one with a balcony.
My only complaint is that the bathroom/WC doesn’t have a proper door, it’s just a shower curtain, which doesn’t give much privacy.
The beds have heated blankets which is really nice at night when in bed.
Lastly the staff was very kind, the owner could speak English and helped us arrange transportation to Lijiang.

A small guesthouse just outside the ancient town. Nice and quiet but two minutes from the hustle and bustle. Staff were so helpful. Basic room.

The hygiene is very poor, the humidifier is covered with moss
The service was also very poor. We arrived at the hotel at 11pm. The next day at 12pm, we were asked if 1pm was ok. We packed our bags and left at 1am. The boss actually said no, leave quickly because we have to serve the next guests. We stayed in other hotels for the other two nights. The service was very good, especially good, and the hygiene was very clean.

On a family trip with my parents and loved ones, I came to Shaxi Ancient Town. The environment of Jiuqiyue B&B is very good. The succulent garden is very beautiful. Staying here is relaxing and leisurely. There are cats for company. I will come again next time ~

Jiuqi Zhiyue Inn is located near the North Village Gate of Shaxi. It is very close to Sideng Street and the street where you can eat. It is very quiet at night.
