Shaxi Guichen Boutique Homestay

This is my third time in Shaxi, and I came to try the new store opened by the proprietress in Aofeng Village. In recent years, the vitality of Sideng Street has successfully radiated to the surrounding villages, and Aofeng Village where the inn is located is one of them. This village, which is not well known to many people, has a large-scale City God Temple, ancient trees, ancient temples, and a newly built Tea Horse Ancient Road Museum. The Tea Horse Ancient Road Museum has earth walls and black tiles, and a through-beam structure. The exhibition is from the ancient origin to the Anti-Japanese War, which is quite wonderful. You can spend a day without leaving the village. The inn is away from the crowd and noise, embracing the countryside, simplicity and tranquility. The overall style is simple and grand, combining modern with Bai characteristics. The public area is large, and I especially like the large tea table in the living room and the large wooden table in the breakfast area. Grapefruit, pomegranate, bayberry, lemon, and phoenix feather maple are planted in the yard. Bayberry and lemon have already borne fruit, and pomegranate flowers are in full bloom. The inn also has an organic vegetable garden, and you can go from farm to table without leaving the house. It is only 1.5 kilometers from the inn to Sideng Street, which is a walking distance for both moving and quiet. The proprietress has made full use of her rich experience in Sideng Village. The new store is an upgrade from the past from design to management: the room is large enough, the flow is reasonable, there is central air conditioning, and a smart toilet; the bath water is large and hot, and the room has an independent washing machine; the bed is soft and hard, and the bedding is soft and comfortable; two details worth mentioning are: the steel frame stairs leading to the second floor are the most stable I have ever stepped on, without shaking or making any sound; there are enough sockets in the room, so there will be no electronic devices without a place to charge. The proprietress's breakfast is unique: rich in variety and nutritious. The breakfast is different every day, and several sets are rotated. Today's breakfast is my favorite: rice noodle. It has color, fragrance, and taste, and it is more delicious than the famous double-capped hats eaten in Jianchuan😋~ The inn is on the roadside, and it is very convenient to drive here. We came from Lijiang by bus, and the proprietress drove a small yellow car to the town bus station to pick us up. If you don't want to walk to Sideng Street, the boss lady can also drive a small yellow car to take you there. The boss lady is simple and enthusiastic, and she is someone I feel attracted to at first sight. After working in many industries for many years, she finally opened her own store in her village after years of hard work. Yesterday's busy days have settled here; Today is peaceful and peaceful, and it is time to return home and start a new chapter. I believe that under the careful care of the boss lady, returning home will be a beautiful memory for guests in Shaxi. ❤️

This stay was great! The room was warmly decorated, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the facilities were complete and clean. The host was warm and considerate, and the details were perfect. It was a very comfortable stay, highly recommended!

Very comfortable small yard, parking is also very convenient, the proprietress is very enthusiastic and gave us sunflower seeds to eat, the room facilities are also very good, all relatively new, there is also a pick-up service to the ancient town, highly recommended!!! I will choose their place next time I come. In summer, it is super comfortable to drink beer and chat with three or five friends in the yard. It is also very suitable for bringing children!
